The Villa
La Villa is a peaceful retreat in an exceptional location, just one block from the main square. With four bedrooms, a spacious private garden, and a range of amenities, it is well suited for relaxing with family, reading, or enjoying meals with friends in the heart of the village.

- More than 150 plant species.
- A table tennis table, which can be brought outside on sunny days.
The house is decorated with paintings, books, and antiques from around the world, collected by our family over the years.

Guest Access
The entire house is private and reserved for guests. Guests also have access to:
- The pool table.
- The table tennis table.
- The dartboard.
- The outdoor barbecue area.
Additional Information
In a separate area of the villa, Alcira, our service employee, gardener, and cook, has lived with her teenage daughter for more than 20 years.
Cleaning is included. During your stay, Alcira will keep the house clean and tidy while respecting the privacy guests desire.
Meals are not included in the listed price. Alcira is an excellent cook and, for an additional fee, can prepare a variety of delicious dishes for you and your guests.

For those of us who enjoy nature, the private garden area is spectacular, the house is classic and transports you to another era! The location is perfect for touring the square and the charm of Villa de Leyva Alcira is very attentive and very helpful The sheets and beds 10 out of 10 We missed staying one more night to enjoy the BBQ area We felt right at home Thank you Maria Helena

From the moment we arrived, we were impressed. The home was spotless, welcoming, and clearly very well cared for. It’s even better in person, the photos and description really don’t capture how lovely it is. A huge shoutout to the housekeeper, who was on top of everything and made our stay seamless. We had an amazing time and would absolutely stay here again.

We loved our stay at this house. The house and garden are both beautiful. I couldn’t stop walking around the property just looking at how pretty it is. I loved the bedding on all of the beds, cozy and warm. Plenty of clean towels and blankets were available. Everything was just wonderful. The house is a block from the main square and close to everything. Close to the center yet it’s so peaceful and private inside the walls. Alcira is a joy and very helpful. Maria Helena is proactive and made sure we had whatever we needed. I wish we could have stayed longer. We highly recommend this house.

This is a gem of a house. You’ll go back in time to the colonial period in Colombia. It’s simply a magical place to stay. Maria Helena was always responsive and the house manager Alcira, was always kind. The only thing that could have been better is having more reliable hot water. But they are working on fixing the problem. I would stay here again 👍

I was with my family at Maria Helena's house in Villa de Leyva, the house is beautiful, very well located two blocks from the main square, Alcira her housekeeper is very friendly and helpful, likewise our host María Helena was very attentive to us and answered all our doubts. I recommend it 10/10 to be with the family and enjoy the beautiful gardens and social spaces of the house.

One of the most beautiful houses we've ever been to. It's one of those magical and unique places. The photos don't really show how beautiful the house is. Every detail and space is special. Maria Helena is super attentive and communicates very well. Alcira, the lady of the house, a beauty serving and cooking delicious food. He even fulfilled my craving for Changua. The house's location is unbeatable. One block from the main square and with many restaurant options nearby and within walking distance. We definitely hope to return. Thank you very much

Excellent home just over a block from the main plaza. Traditional construction, well maintained and decorated, very spacious. Alcira, the person in charge of maintaining the place was an asset in regards to meal preparation, security and keeping everything in order. Would stay again. Thanks Maria Helena.
