During Your Stay
We share the experience and history of being the pioneers of Playa Corona.
Your host is a musician, and guests are welcome to enjoy music and artistic creations on several of the terraces. We organize bonfires and share music with our guitars.

Pros: Jorge is friendly, grounds are beautiful, easy access to beach. Cons: The description in the listing is VERY inaccurate. It does NOT have "Four Luxury Suites with balconies overlooking the ocean" - only TWO of the bedrooms have attached bathrooms and balconies. The kitchen was not on the "first level of the villa" - it is in a completely separate building, small, not very clean, not enough pots, pans, dishes for cooking meals. The "Living Rooms" on the second level are parts of hallways, not "rooms." Lastly, DON'T be fooled by the pictures of the pool - it is a kiddie pool, about 1/2 a meter deep and VERY small! We found trash in some of the bedrooms, hair in the showers, sinks not very clean. The whole house, even outside, smelled like the dog and it was a very unpleasant odor. We were locked out of the gate on some nights. Jorge says to text him when we arrive, but if this is a true rental property, we should be free to come and go and not feel like we are under curfew.

Jorge gave us all the good restaurants in the area via chat app. He even drove us around and showed us some apartments and facilities. Jorge has a lot to tell and speaks very good English. We will be back...

Highly recommend staying here. This is a wonderful relaxing scenic gem right on the beach. Our room was clean, spacious & quite comfortable. No problem keeping cool with AC & fans. We enjoyed relaxing in the hammock on our balcony. The sunrises & sunsets were some of the best we’ve seen framed by palm trees & flowering shrubs on the property. Our host Jorge was great. He responded to our texts in minutes. We feel he went above & beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Jorge is very knowledgeable about the area & we learned a lot. Plus he’s a great story teller. We hope to return one day.

I can totally recommend to stay at Jorge's place! The house and garden are just beautiful and very clean, and the view is spectacular. There is everything you need for a little vacation close to the beach - even a magical acerola tree. Jorge is a great host and is super attentive and friendly and knowledgeable about everything around. He provides a delicous breakfast for you if you want. The house has a direct access to the beach (playa corona). The beach is very nice as well. Quite clean, sandy (without any rocks) and relaxed. If you walk a bit to the left, you have the beach almost for yourself. We definetly want to come back!

I came here to spend a few days preview to my birthday, as a meditation, and place to connect with myself and beautiful things. This place is magical and filled with amazing sunsets and sunrises, flowers everywhere, happy pets, in front of the beach, and a lovely host that makes you feel at home. I could have never asked for more. The beach is also so comfortable, the water is clear, no stones on the shore, so long to walk up to where you want... Overall lovely! Im definitely coming back.
