The Space

Conceived, designed, and built by OsArq in 2023, Nimbu Vida is a luxury property consisting of two identical, adjacent homes in Playa Langosta, Tamarindo, Costa Rica.

Each home is entirely separate, private, and secure:

Each property accommodates up to 10 guests across five bedrooms, including a fully appointed casita. Both homes have their own pools and comprehensive amenities.

When reserved separately, the homes share only a private gate that remains concealed and secure. Whether booked as one home or as a vast interconnected compound, the grounds, amenities, service, and complete Nimbu experience feel both impressive and intimate.

Resort-Style Grounds

After entering through the keypad-controlled gate in the quiet neighborhood of Playa Langosta, guests are welcomed into a completely private resort environment. The ground floor and surrounding grounds feature:

Play and Relax

The main living level is reached by a gradual teak ramp that rises above the sparkling pools below. Upstairs, guests enter an open yet covered space enveloped in teak from floor to vaulted ceiling.

This central indoor-outdoor lounge and dining area connects the main bedrooms, indoor and outdoor kitchens, and upstairs entertainment spaces. The second-floor living areas overlook the pools and grounds, allowing guests to move easily between social gatherings and quiet personal time.

Two of the five guest rooms are accessed from the kitchen side, while two others—including the main suite and guest or office bedrooms—connect across the central deck.

Throughout the home, the bedrooms and bathrooms are comfortable, beautifully designed, and fully appointed. The expansive main suite includes a spa-quality shower and bathroom, while the bedrooms feature:

Private Casita

The detached and fully appointed casita is tucked privately beside the lower pool area. It includes:

Kitchen, Dining, and Entertainment

The main indoor kitchen and living area can open completely across a 30-foot span of floor-to-ceiling glass doors. Guests can enjoy the space either closed and climate-controlled or open to the covered teak dining and lounge area.

The kitchen and integrated living space are fully equipped for preparing meals or being served by a private cook. The flexible indoor-outdoor environment also includes a high-end covered gas grill with:

Tamarindo is a lively surf town known for its beautiful beachfront dining, famous surf, excellent and diverse restaurants, and abundant nightlife.

The property is situated in the exclusive, peaceful neighborhood of Playa Langosta, at the edge of the 1,100-acre Las Baulas National Marine Park.
