Amazing place! Everything inside is new and modern. The pool was great, though it can be a bit cold depending on the sunlight. The best part, hands down, was the trail behind the house. We saw more animals here than on our entire Costa Rica trip: sloths, birds, iguanas, frogs, and even the neighbors' friendly dogs haha. The host was an amazing and so were her parents who made us breakfast one the mornings. Overall a wonderful place to stay. The one thing to note is that it's not in La Fortuna, but it's definitely worth the 15-minute drive if you have a rental car.

Loved my stay here! Super clean, cozy, and in a perfect spot on a quiet road. When I first arrived, I was greeted by Joshua, who was wonderful and took his time explaining everything about the house. We arrived early, and he kindly let us leave our things while the place was still being cleaned. From the very first moment I communicated with Raquel, I told her I was coming with friends to celebrate my 50th — and once I officially arrived, OMG, the goodies waiting for us made me feel so special. Her mother is an amazing cook. if you want pictures taken, do not hesitate to tell them. Her husband Pablo took some absolutely beautiful photos of our group. The chef they recommended to come by was A+, everything was delicious and professional. Raquel kept in contact from the beginning, during my stay, when I left, and even after I left. There is honestly so much more I could say, but just know this place gets 100 stars from me and my group. Don’t hesitate — book it

They were really wonderful days at the villa. The villa is lovingly decorated and exudes a warmth that my two children and I really enjoyed. We were received in a very friendly manner by Joshua, who was always helpful with all our needs and questions. The villa has everything you need – of course, my girls liked the pool the most, which, being indoors, was also used intensively during heavy downpours. Unfortunately, I can only give 5 stars; otherwise, I would add one more. Many thanks and best regards from Munich! Robert

Lovely place. We had a wonderful time.

The house is great, beautiful, well decorated, very comfortable. All rooms have its own bathroom which gives everyone its privacy. The swimming pool was great! The communication with Raquel and Joshua was perfect, very proactive and reactive. We had a great Costa Rican breakfast offered by Raquel, cooked by her mom. Her dad gave us a tour of the property where we could see iguanas and sloth. Everything was perfect. I highly recommend this house !

Great place for our family to stay while we explored the La Fortuna area. Loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom and plenty of AC throughout the house. The courtyard pool was super fun too!

Raquel's home and her hospitality far exceeded our expectations. The photos do not do the space justice. Our kids lived in their indoor pool, which was bigger than we thought it would be and a lifesaver during rainstorms. Raquel and her family went above and beyond with their welcome, giving our kids a special birthday welcome, making us delicious tamales, and bringing us on a fun tour of their massive rainforest backyard. Although the location was slightly further from central La Fortuna than we had hoped (which was expected and not a surprise), the beautiful space and warm hospitality more than made up for that. I would highly recommend this space to others and return with my own family.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful home in La Fortuna! The jungle vibe made it feel like a true Costa Rican getaway, with lush tropical landscaping and gorgeous grounds all around the property. The house was spotless from top to bottom and very well maintained. The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We also appreciated the home security alarm, which gave us extra peace of mind. The décor was unique, stylish, and blended perfectly with the natural surroundings. Waking up to the beautiful views and sounds of the jungle each morning was unforgettable. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this home to anyone visiting La Fortuna!

We had an amazing stay at the garden luxury house. Raquel, Joshua and Raquel’s parents were all amazing host. The beautiful house is just as described and as seen in all the photos, the indoor-outdoor pool setting was perfect for early morning and late night swims for my 4 kids. Raquel‘s dad gave us a tour of the property and though we were not able to see sloths at the time of our tour many were seen throughout our stay. The complimentary tamale breakfast at Raquel‘s parents’ house was an amazing start to our La Fortuna vacation! We also ended our trip with a delicious arroz con pollo dinner on our last night (we paid). It was an extra bonus to have their 3 Chihuahuas come visit us multiple times throughout the day we miss you Candy, Pulgita and Snow! Until next time! Gracias and Pura Vida!!!
