The house (cabin) is really well located, on the edge of the forest. In the morning, you can hear and see many animals: toucans, macaws, monkeys, and birds of all kinds. Like I told Nancy when we arrived, the house is amazing, and the ocean view is peaceful! You need a 4x4! Thank you Nancy!

This place is a dream. 🐒 You are in the jungle, listening to the birds and enjoying the most beautiful sunset… in addition to the view which is extraordinary! The house is very well equipped, the space is clean and well organized. The climb is difficult, a 4x4 is mandatory. Don't arrive at the Dark!! But it's well worth it. I would 200% recommend it. Thanks Nancy!

We found the accommodation very, very nice. What bothered us a little was that on the day of arrival we were asked if we had a "real " 4×4 and if we could swap our two 4-wheel drive SUVs. That would have cost us a lot of extra time and money. Had we known in advance that we would have needed a 4×4, we would have chosen another accommodation. We arrived at the accommodation with the four-wheel drive without any problems. But the whole thing worried us so much in advance that we canceled a trip to clarify whether we could even reach the accommodation with our car. In addition, the sheets and seat cushions had some mold stains. But that's probably not avoidable if the house is in the jungle. Overall, we were very satisfied. Nancy was also always very friendly and helpful. The only thing that really bothered us was the situation with the car.

I cannot rate Nancy and her beautiful home highly enough. The house is open to nature with breathtaking views from both decks. Full working kitchen and a big master bedroom. The house is surrounded by the jungle with full view of the ocean. You hear howler monkeys, see the toucans and humming birds every day. You absolutely need a 4x4. It’s worth the drive to get the view and peace and quiet. Nancy is super responsive and happy to help. She gave me multiple recommendations for fun things to do in Costa Rica. Any help or questions I had about the house she was always there to help. Amazing stay!!

Nancy’s house was amazing. It was up a steep mountain and was quite a fun adventure coming and going. We heard and saw monkeys. It was like Swiss Family Robinson. I would highly recommend her place.

Nancy's house is a very peaceful place, completely isolated from everything, you can really enjoy the silence, the sound of nature and an impressive view. It is very important to take into account Nancy's recommendation about the 4x4 car, otherwise the road is unfeasible. People who are bothered by flying bugs, this is not the place for them, but it is for those who love nature and delving into it.

We took a family trip so we needed peace and quiet. We also wanted to be close to nature and were served. It should be understood that Nancy's villa is in the jungle, very high in the mountain so you should not expect to be within walking distance of amenities. On our side, it was precisely what we were looking for. Nancy is very responsive to our messages and very quick to respond. His instructions to get to the villa were very clear, which allowed us to get there without any problem. The beauty of the view is indescribable, we all had a great emotion when we arrived so beautiful. If you don't like “bugs” I advise against you since you should know that you will literally live with nature, humidity and everything that comes with it. For us it was not a problem on the contrary but you must know. Basically, I would recommend to anyone who wants to have an experience!!

We enjoyed the location at the top of the jungle with the proximity to tukans and monkeys, the view is fantastically beautiful. This enjoyment was diminished by the really crass 30-minute drive through mud and deep potholes (plus another 10 minutes to Uvita). We only had accommodations in Costa Rica that needed 4x4, but this path was another number, flat tire included. The washing machine didn't work, was repaired during our stay, and then broke again. The upper bedroom with the expansive terrace is really nice, the two bedrooms downstairs, especially the back, are very small and simple, outdoor spaces framed by screens under a tin roof. The price-performance ratio was not really right for us.

Nancy’s home was a dream. I honestly can’t wait to go back. The cacophony of birds and wildlife in the morning was epic. We saw monkeys, iridescent blue butterflies, coatis, iguanas and gorgeous birds. The beaches were close by and stunning. Nancy was extremely kind and helpful. I highly recommend this home. Please do make sure you have the 4x4.
