Punta Preciosa is the perfect place to immerse yourself in Costa Rican nature. It is completely open on the ground floor and even from the bedrooms (protected by perfectly intact mosquito nets in the window frame) you can always hear the sound of the ocean. The location is also unique: it is only a few steps to the beach (hammocks and sunchairs are there for you to relax) and the sea is perfect for swimming and watching spectacular sunrises. Pascal is a great host, always supportive and quick to reply. He provided us with a perfect digital handbook that includes information about really everything you need and want to know about the house, the surroundings and activities. Manuel stayed at the back of the house during our stay and was always very helpful and friendly. He even enabled us to participate in turtle releases twice at the beach right in front of the house. We absolutely loved Punta Preciosa and appreciate their approach to sustainable tourism. We hope to be back some day!

If you love nature and wildlife this place is for you! Pascal was a great host, we arrived in the middle of a rain storm and he came down to meet us to escort us to the house so we didn’t get lost. It was raining so hard when we arrived we couldn’t take in the beauty until the next morning. You feel like you’re saying in a treehouse, and the parrots make sure you are up in time to watch the sun rise over the bay. We saw more wildlife during our stay at the house then the whole rest of our trip in Costa Rica. The ocean in front of the house is perfect for swimming, it’s warm and no surf, and the beach feels completely private, we only saw a handful of other people. We had a slight issue with the water but pascal came down to help and even brought us fresh eggs from his chickens. The absolute highlight was waking up to a text from pascal that there was a sea turtle hatching release, we rushed to get down to the beach and had a beautiful morning releasing baby sea turtles!

A beautiful secluded place in paradise. Pascal and Manuel were excellent hosts and helped to set us up with a tour of Corcovado, as well as a snorkeling and dolphin watch. Manuel was super helpful when we arrived and assisted me in ordering takeout food for delivery! All around awesome place at the end of a long bumpy road, but well worth the privacy and serenity.

What a place! If you are looking to disconnect but still have some amenities, this is the place to be! Great host and highly recommend the private chef, if available. Would give it 6 stars if I could!

We had a lovely stay in the Osa Peninsula. The house was just as described and such a unique experience for my family. The views were awesome and the house very comfortable. The fans helped a lot with the heat. Pascal was great at answering all questions and helping us arrange tours. Manuel was helpful on site. It was a wonderful stay!

Outstanding! Exactly as described. A quiet little oasis of paradise. Beach was great for swimming. Went on a private horseback beach ride where the guide picked us up in the driveway, zip lined through the canopy jungle, saw macaws everyday in the yard, experienced the local cuisine, went on a nighttime jungle hike. Monkeys, macaws, frogs, snakes, lizards, and so much more. Landscape was lush and amazing. A perfect Costa Rica experience.

The location is amazing. The beach was perfect for swimming and was nearly always deserted. The garden in the back is teeming with wildlife ... especially the giant tree, where 10 howler monkeys showed up and stayed for about 3 days, plus a sloth that stayed for several days. There were many macaws visiting the almond trees and making lots of noise. The connection to the wildlife was really amazing. We also really enjoyed horse-back riding, our tour with Manuel, the kayak tour, and the boat ride where we saw even more animals. The house itself is very open, so it's important to keep up with sweeping in the kitchen to prevent ants. In some of the bedrooms there were many small bugs, but we did get used to it. I was worried about a big gap in the staircase and Pascal brought someone to come and fix it, which I really appreciated. In all, it was a wonderful place to be if you are looking for a private wild place in the jungle where you can experience a lot of nature.
