I booked this condo for my mom's stay in Panama and I'm very pleased that she was in excellent hands with Maria Cristina. Maria was extremely helpful and provided valuable information about the area and even drew a map for my mom to get to the nearby train station. Truly a home away from home. Perfect host!

I had a fantastic two-month stay at Maria's apartment. Maria was super responsive to my messages and immediately sent assistance when I accidentally caused the washing machine to overflow and when the shower drain was clogged. My #1 requirement for an Airbnb is to be able to easily work from home, which for me means high-speed, reliable Wifi for the many hours of Zoom meetings I do each week. The signal was a little weak for Zoom in the second bedroom (which I hardly used) but every other room in the house it was excellent and I had zero issues. The only reason I left was because someone else had already booked out the next month, so yes, I would definitely stay again. Thanks Maria!

So, my daughter and I had a lil mix up at the airport. we kinda didn't make a plan. lol but the driver that Maria sent took the time to come into to the airport to find me at same time my daughter found me. :) Maria was waiting at the door when we arrived, preceeded to show us the apartment and sent suggestions on things to do. We had a little bump with the living room TV but that was fixed. The main bedroom TV didn't work but I really didn't care. The surrounding neighborhood altho looking a certain way (shabby) was completely safe and walkable. Keep in mind this is a vibrant neighborhood so there will be noise. Dogs barking mostly and car horns geesh. lol. Overall our stay was pleasant, quiet, clean bldg. My only complaint was the bathroom it is small,small, small but only the area around the toilet. The shower drained slowly as well. I would totally stay here again if ever in Panama City.

The apartment is gorgeous, very comfortable. This was my house with my baby for 15 days in Panama and everything worked perfect, Maria Cristina was always responsive, the neighbourhood is quiet and safe, pretty well located. I would definitely stay again.

I enjoyed my time at María’s place. It’s very convenient with restaurants, bars, and activities near the place. The WiFi worked well for work calls and to handle meetings. It’s a safe and secure building and the neighbors are really nice. Plus, there is AC in every room of the house.

Maria Cristina's apartment is my favorite in Panama City. I visit 2-3x a year and have stayed at other AirBnB's in other neighborhoods and this is my favorite. I've stayed here for long stays twice now. First off, it's a beautifully decorated apartment with an excellent workspace, fast wifi, cold AC and a massive kitchen for cooking. Next, it's in Panama's vibrant El Cangrejo neighborhood, walking distance from awesome restaurants, coffee shops and a park. The neighbors are lovely. The building is very safe. I 100% recommend this spot, especially for longer stays!

This lovely apartment was my home for over 7 weeks in Panama City. Maria Cristina was a wonderful host from beginning to end: she communicated extremely well in both English and Spanish and was always fast in responding. She was kind and supportive and extremely flexible. She lives in the floor below, which made everything easy! The flat is very comfortable, well appointed and extremely well located at El Cangrejo. The kitchen is modern and well equipped, the air conditioners in all rooms worked perfectly, as did the ceiling fans, TV and the internet - which was very fast and reliable throughout my whole stay. I enjoyed the large King bed and main bedroom, which is very comfortable. The bathroom is very small but worked well because I was alone. I appreciated being able to use a parking space in the building garage. The views from the 7th floor are beautiful and the fact that there are no other tall buildings next door guaranteed privacy. The large windows overlooking Parque Andres Bello in the living room are great! Sometimes there was loud music at the park and bars at neighbouring Vía Argentina during the weekends, but it rarely went past 10pm. I found the flat generally very quiet, except for all the birds singing early mornings! El Cangrejo is a very lively neighbourhood: it is residential but also full of good restaurants, bars and shopping opportunities. Everything is walking distance from the flat and very local. It’s a good way to experience the ‘real’ city without the touristic vibe of the Casco Viejo, or the high-rise lifestyle of Avenida Balboa. I highly recommend this flat to anyone wishing to spend a longer period in Panama City, I am sure you will feel as much at home as I did.
