Enjoy a peaceful, centrally located retreat in Dominical, surrounded by nature and close to the beach. Relax beside the pool or unwind in the hammock while taking in expansive ocean views and spectacular sunsets. Surfers can easily watch the nearby point break.
The villa is situated on a hillside, 1.5 kilometers from Dominical village, where you will find boutique-style shops, cafés, restaurants, and bars. The beach is 0.5 kilometers from the villa, across the street from the community.
The Space
The villa occupies the main floor and features an open-concept studio with breathtaking 180-degree ocean views. It includes:

- 43-inch flat-screen television
- Fully equipped kitchen
- New refrigerator
- New air conditioning
- High-speed fiber-optic internet and Wi-Fi
- Private bathroom with hot water
Floor-to-ceiling glass sliding doors fill the living area with natural light and create a seamless indoor-outdoor flow onto the spacious, covered patio. The tall front windows have been newly tinted to help maintain a cool interior and provide additional privacy.
On the front patio, a hammock offers a relaxing spot to watch toucans, scarlet macaws, monkeys, and other exotic wildlife. You can also enjoy the sunsets or dine outdoors during a romantic evening.
A patio deck on one side of the villa includes:
- Dipping pool
- Lounge chairs
- Gas barbecue grill
- Outdoor shower
On the opposite side, a garden area features a concrete table with benches, suitable for sightseeing or enjoying lunch. The property occupies one acre of hillside land landscaped with a variety of tropical palms, trees, and plants.

Important Information
- Please be prepared to walk up steps to reach the main floor of the home.
- Due to allergies, pets are not allowed.
- For a comfortable stay, only infants under one year old are permitted. A cot or Pack ’n Play can be provided at no additional charge.
- Children between one and ten years old are not permitted due to the risks associated with the balcony and stairs.
- Early check-in may be available for a $25 fee.
- Costa Rica is a developing country, and occasional interruptions to electricity, water, or internet service may occur due to circumstances beyond our control. These outages are usually temporary, and we appreciate your patience and understanding if they occur during your visit.

Our stay at this apartment in Playa Dominical was truly unforgettable. The panoramic ocean view is absolutely divine, offering so much peace where you can hear the animals and the ocean. The place is super clean and spacious, with a super comfortable bed that made it hard to get up. The pool area is also beautiful. The hosts were excellent; they were always available and responded to any questions in minutes. We loved our stay and felt so well-treated that we can't wait to return.

The pictures don’t lie, there is an incredible view from the hammock and the chairs beside the hot tub- very clear picture of the pacific with stunning sunsets. The place is surrounded by million dollar homes, I felt safe as there was a security officer down the road from the location. The downside is that the place felt much smaller than the pictures make you feel- but you get used to it. The rock solid bed on the other hand was something I had a very hard time with. I got to meet lots of cool critters outside such as a giant toad (I mean giant), these little rodents that look like a cross between a hare/ginny pig/groundhog. The bathroom was very clean and I appreciated having body wash available as I had run out after traveling these last 2 weeks. The location isn’t far from Dominical, I wouldn’t walk due to the wild drivers. Great location, clear instructions, everything you need to cook is provided with the exception of some oils/spices/etc.

Lisette and David’s property was a dream! Beautiful view, perfect dipping pool under the shade, hammock bliss, and loved the wide opening sliding glass doors. They were both super friendly, responsive, and accommodating. The view was spectacular and the kitchen had everything we needed and more to cook numerous home cooked meals. Highly recommend!

We found everything very easily and was kindly greeted by a large Iguana (I secretly believe he was part of security 🤣). We were able to relax in the pool and watch the sunset. The place was clean and had everything needed. We were close to all the places we wanted to visit in the area and we were always able to come home to a wondeful nights rest. thank you for having us.

A little difficult to find but totally worth it. We needed a good home base and we found it close to Quepos, Nauyaca Waterfall and Uvita. Stunning views from the villa of Playa Dominical. Highly recommend!

If you like overlooking rose bushes out to the ocean in a hammock or jumping into the swimming pool right out the door this place might be it for YOU. There is a cafe nearby (about 5 mins away on foot), the beach is very close, I was able to walk everywhere. If you’re walking you will have to walk up three separate steep heels to get to the home but it’s totally worth it. The hosts are incredibly helpful, very communicative, reply quickly, and very kind. The home is well equipped and very comfortable. I can’t think how this place could get any better !!

Such a special retreat. The road to the property is steep, mix of pavement and gravel. Directions were great! Have to climb about 25 steps, but there is a railing. Lockbox is easy to operate. Furnishings were as expected. The view however...as much as you might be ready for it, you never are. Enjoyed seeing surfers and paddle boarders out in the morning hours, and the sunset at night. The pool was refreshing and the hammock was comfortable. I especially appreciated the quick responses to any questions. Do yourself a favor and stay here!
