Mae Casa

Casa Mae was everything we hoped for and more! We booked 9 days for our 25th anniversary trip. Friends joined us for part of the week and we all had plenty of space and privacy. The jungle surrounding the house provided endless entertainment with the howler monkeys, birds, plants, insects…we would just float in the pool and marvel at everything! The a/c and ceiling fans kept it comfy and cool for these Pacific Northwesters. There were plenty of towels/linens and pool maintenance and light housekeeping happened mid-stay. The host, Leonie, was easy to contact and even stocked the fridge with some groceries for us to get started the first day (we arrived around 9 and were so happy to just have a snack and jump in the pool!). We would definitely rent Casa Mae again, it would work well for up to 3 couples or a family of 4-6 people. Playa Samara and Playa Carrillo were both great for beach time and Samara had some fun restaurants and bars. Even got to see a sea turtle on Buena Vista!

This was a great last minute find. Our booked house was not what it described and we left it after one night. These guys jumped in quickly and helped salvage our anniversary vacation. We were really grateful. The place is lovely, the pool is awesome, and the hidden path to hike to the ocean was a trip highlight for us.

Exceptional house! We really enjoyed staying there. The master bedroom was very comfortable and spacious. It was in a peaceful place. We recommend it without hesitation!

What a wonderful house with excellent hosts. Our kids loved the swimming pool and the extra ‘house’. It was close to the beach but also private. It was a perfect stay to relax and discover the area.

One of our favorite stays ever. A wonderfully secluded location that is close to Samara. Loved the huge master suite and large swimming pool. All the cooking amenities you could need. Saw numerous animals around the property! Highly recommend staying at Mae Casa

This home was perfect for our family of 6, including 4 adult age kids! Close proximity to town, yet just away enough for privacy:) We rented golf carts which was perfect getting out locally! Enjoyed the pool so much after long days. Great recommendations from Leonie, the property manager & very responsive. Grocery stores real close by. The house was very clean & had all amenities needed, including a very nice kitchen! Highly recommend this house!!

Such a Beautiful home with so many great windows looking out on gorgeous tree surroundings. Pool was fabulous. Probably the loveliest Airbnb our family has ever stayed in. Our family of 7 fit perfectly. The primary upstairs bedroom was very spacious and fit two quality air mattresses for my kids. We cooked a lot of meals and enjoyed the kitchen dishes, blender, pots and pans. If you enjoy nature and privacy, this is a perfect spot, only 5-10 min drive to town or 15 min walk to the north end of Samara beach for snorkeling. We enjoyed a very relaxing stay. The electricity goes out in storms but it always returned within an hour during our stay. House is well equipped with flashlights. Leonie was very attentive and offered great recommendations. Christina, the housekeeper, is lovely. The gardener and pool guys took great care of the property while we were there. If we return to Samara, would love to stay here again.

Perfect place for a family or friends to explore the surrounding beaches and Samara. Host was super friendly and responsive. So many animals around, kids loved it, was like living in a beautiful green private zoo. We loved every minute of it and would 100% recommend this to anyone

Wow! This was an amazing Air BNB. Beautiful private property to relax at , especially since it was Easter weekend and Samara was very very busy and loud ! There is plenty of space, the kitchen was fully stocked, the beds were very comfortable…. It really was the best way to end our holiday! We had only two nights here but took full advantage of the amenities and cooked some great meals. Enjoyed our last morning watching the monkeys play in the trees 🌴 Would definitely stay here again when we are back in Samara ! Thank you for taking our very last minute reservation and being so accommodating!
