The Space
Casa Lumbre is a modern loft on the shores of Lake Atitlán, located in the tranquil village of Tzununá. Surrounded by majestic volcanoes and breathtaking views, it offers a serene setting for slowing down and reconnecting with nature.

Getting Around
Slowing down and disconnecting does not mean becoming unreachable. The property has a private dock and is also a short walk from Tzununá’s public dock, making it easy to travel by boat or tuk-tuk and visit the livelier, more tourist-oriented towns around Lake Atitlán.
Guest Access
Brillo Mio Lodge Atitlán has three lofts, each accommodating two people. Guests share the following amenities:
- Pool
- Temascal
- Fire pit
- Dock
The temascal and fire pit are available for an additional fee and must be requested at least one day in advance.
Important Information
We recommend bringing all necessary groceries and personal supplies. Although shops are available in San Marcos, approximately 2 kilometers away, and Tzununá, approximately 350 meters away, they may not have everything you need.
The property has uneven terrain and steep inclines, with many steps throughout. Please exercise caution in steep areas. A high level of mobility is required to move around the property and surrounding area.
Although the loft provides the necessary comforts, it is surrounded by nature, so insects may occasionally be present.
Power Outages
Power outages may occur because of weather conditions, windy seasons, severe storms, or peak-season demand. When an outage occurs, we immediately notify the electric company, although the resolution is beyond our control.
A rationed power plant provides basic services until electricity is restored. Wi-Fi will be affected during an outage, but hot water and the stove will continue working because they operate with gas.

The stay was amazing. The temazcal is an experience that you have to try and is highly recommended. We loved everything, and Lucia was very attentive during the stay.

The view is so beautiful and captivating, both day and night (by moonlight), that it quickly takes your mind off your worries. The cabin is equipped with everything you need and is of a very high standard. The town of Tzununá is super quiet with stores that have what you need. Recommended for couples!

We absolutely loved our stay on the lake, the house and view were absolutely beautiful. We were so comfortable and so happy. Lucia was an amazing host, always very responsive and quick with her responses. We will definitely be back here if we were to visit guatemala again!

Lucia’s place was magical. Our view was right in front of the lake, and we got to watch the sunset and sunrise right from our balcony! Lucia was really active in communicating with us, which made our stay comfortable and inviting. She is very clear with instructions. Yes, her location does require walking, but so does majority of stays in Atitlan! Thank you for having us :)

We had an exceptional stay at this Airbnb. A true haven of peace, ideal to recharge your batteries. The view of the volcanoes is simply magnificent, from sunrise to sunset. The accommodation is modern, very well-equipped and tastefully decorated. The lush, flower-filled garden creates a soothing atmosphere that makes the place even more pleasant. The pool and pontoon are a real plus to fully enjoy the lake. In addition, a lancha is available just 5 minutes away, making it easy and quick to get to the other villages around the lake. If you are looking for a peaceful place with a breathtaking view and all the comforts you need, we recommend this accommodation without a second thought. Thanks again to Lucia.

Spectacular experience with a direct view of the lake. Lucia was very nice to us and was very attentive, helpful and responded very quickly to all our concerns. It has a pool from which we could enjoy the sunset. Watching the sunrise from the balcony has been an unforgettable experience. We went to San Juan and San Marcos by tuk-tuk, very accessible. You definitely have to come to this place.

Brillo Mio was amazing and exactly what we were looking for. Tzununa is very quiet especially compared to other towns. There's no coffee shop you can easily walk to, but you're far from stranded. There's still a handful of restaurants, and close to the public dock. As a couple, it was exactly what we wanted. The unit itself was great - the balcony, bathroom views, and floor to ceiling windows especially. The pool isn't well maintained but was still so picturesque.

Brillo Mío is a gem on Lake Atitlán. The place is beautiful, access to the lake is very convenient, and Lucía is an excellent host. I couldn't recommend this place more highly!
