This was our second time staying in montecristo estates booking through Saul. We loved every moment of our stay. We spent almost every moment in the pool and love the spacious rooms and attached baths for our family. Would love to stay again!

Sauls place is beautiful. I won’t be staying anywhere else when in Cabo. It is a little pricey, but amazing view and worth it the money. Private pool and jacuzzi with all needed amenities makes it worth it.

We LOVED the view from the unit! We saw several cruise ships pass by as well as Whales in the area. We could see the fireworks perfectly from the upstairs balcony and pool area. LOVED that the hot tub was a part of the pool. The pool staff came every day to check on the pool and hot tub.

Things that were wrong:

Didn’t have a microwave

Jacuzzi tub in bathroom didn’t work

Downstairs tv remote didn’t work

Portable phone didn’t work

Housekeeping took aprox. $200-300 out of my zipped backpack.

Housekeeping constantly kept showing up (on the last day 3 separate times within 1 hour even after we told them we were checking out at 11am

Hot tub was missing head/neck pads on 50% of the spots

Bed was insanely uncomfortable. We actually took the outdoor lounge chair pads and put them under the covers to make it comfortable enough to at least get 4-5 hours of sleep per night.

Maintenance people kept showing up un-announced in the pool area . Sometimes it was at 8am violating any privacy

I’ve stayed at Montecristo multiple times and this was the first through an Airbnb host and it was a terrible experience for both my girlfriend and I.

Loved our stay! House next door was under complete remodel and quite loud all day with tile drilling. Staff was fantastic at restaurant and pool! Loved the easy transportation

Once again Saul and his team deliver. I had the most amazing time and I stayed in Villa 17 this time around.

Great location, close to the Covid 19 testing center and also had one of the best views.

Beautiful villa and of course the service was amazing. I can’t wait to come here again.

This place was awesome. Looks just like the pictures.. we had access to resort facilities but could also go hang out in the privacy of our villa. Short drive to medano beach. Overall excellent place

When you book your stay here, you do not know which villa you will get. While the location was great and the staff was very nice, the unit we ended up in had numerous maintenance issues:

Drain in the master bath Jacuzzi was not functional making the tub unusable

Jets in the hot tub wouldn't come on

Towel rack by the hot tub was broken with the pieces sitting in the corner

The dishwasher was about to fall out from under the counter

Lights in two of the bathrooms were flickering like a strobe light

Fountain in the front was not working

Our host seemed responsive as I received a call from maintenance after sending him a note though the app. I did give them the list and permission to enter our unit while we were out. It appears the staff came in and fixed one light bulb. The next day I had to go to the front desk in person and speak to a supervisor. They dispatched a second maintenance team and fixed all but the drain in the Jacuzzi and the jets on the hot tub.

I have stayed at several of the Pueblo Bonito properties and the unit we were in was the least maintained with regard to overall condition of the unit and the function/finish. The walls had spots that were unpainted drywall patches, the fixtures in the bathroom were corroded and we discovered an exterior electric panel door slamming against the side of the house our last night when it was windy (the latch was missing).

In summary there were too many things that were worn and broken and getting the staff to correct them was more effort than it should have been. It is ironic that the timeshare salesperson told us the Monte Cristo units are worth over 1.5MM US and that many of the people who invest in the other Pueblo Bonito properties pay extra to upgrade to own these. What do all their maintenance/usage fees go towards? The proof is in the pudding...

I suppose the value in these units is the ocean view and a private swimming pool. We split our stay in another timeshare at a different resort that was half the price. It had a much nicer finish and no issues. After this experience, I would be more inclined to stay elsewhere. It is not the best value for your money.

Great house! Amazing views and a beautiful resort. Service from Pueblo Bonito was great as well. You do have to call for shuttles/taxis if you want to go off property or to a restaurant or pool that’s further away but that is included if you purchase the all inclusive package.

Or walk to the market (which is pretty close), and take a golf cart. Just bring small bills to tip your drivers and room service peeps.

And if you like to walk and get some exercise, the resort grounds are perfect with its steep inclines. It’s a beautiful place. We had a great time.

Views are fantastic. The infinity pool is the clear highlight of the Villa. Home is well stocked. Housekeeping is fantastic. Beds are very comfortable. We will definitely stay here again

We loved our five days in Cabo. Property is lovely. Customer service excellent. The house is perfect for families and love that we have the option of swimming at the villa or taking advantage of the resorts many pool options.
