Our stunning glass house, featured on House Hunters International, was designed by an award winning architect and sets a standard of quality in beautiful Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica. Located in an extremely private area, yet close to the beach and all amenities, and with 6,000 square feet of overall indoor and outdoor living space, this sophisticated and spacious retreat is “one of a kind”. The space The base rate is for the main house only, which accommodates up to 11 guests in 4 bedrooms. The main house is very comfortable with 8 couples if they do not want to share any bedroom space. For those wanting to share space, the master bedroom has a king bed and a twin daybed in the room. There is also a bedroom that includes 2 queen beds that can sleep 4 guests if sharing space. For an additional nightly rate of $400 + tax, a separate 2-bedroom, 3-bathroom guest house can be rented, allowing up to 16 total guests on property. This house is on property and steps away from the main house, but is completely private and includes a kitchen, living room, swimming pool and expansive outdoor deck. The guest house is never rented separately to another guest. It is only used for overflow for the group that is renting the main house. The houses sit on 2 acres of beautiful jungle and lushly planted gardens surrounding the compound. The completely gated grounds, with an electronic gated entrance and parking for up to 3 vehicles, are spectacularly illuminated at night providing a magnificent nighttime ambiance. From the main house, you can meander down a beautiful garden pathway to the separate casita with it's own eat-in kitchen, living area, large outdoor deck and infinity pool – The ultimate in privacy! With three points of entry, there is a man-made walking trail throughout the property with a beautiful yoga deck where guests can enjoy some "zen" time and to get even closer to all of the amazing wildlife. Guest access Our private concierge will meet you upon arrival with gate remote controls and keys to the house. Other things to note Once your booking is accepted, please e-sign our contract. A 13% Costa Rica VAT tax is added to all bookings. The base rate is for the main house only for up to 11 guests (if sharing bedrooms), which includes 4 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms with a total of 1 twin bed, 3 king beds and 2 queen beds. No more than 11 guests are permitted in the main house. The separate guest house can be rented for an additional fee per night (to either spread out OR to allow up to 16 guests total to share space). The guest house includes 2 bedrooms with queen beds and a living room that can be converted to a bedroom with a twin bed, upon request. Advance notice will need to be given so that the twin bed can be assembled and placed in the guest house living room prior to arrival.

A perfect place to stay for a peaceful, hassle free vacation. This home is truly magical! My friends and I were amazed at the beauty that surrounded the house and the way the house felt like a home. From beginning to end (reservation to getting home) the staff were helpful and made things simple and seamless. We highly recommend staying here to experience your own private piece of paradise. Below are more details on what made The Villa so wonderful! The Home: The beds (more on the firm side), pillows and blankets are very comfortable. The AC works amazing in the bedrooms. The bathrooms are perfect sizes for couples sharing a room and the water pressure is strong. The extra closet space was excellent to unpack and feel settled. The living area and pool area all open up to each other so no matter where you are at you don’t miss anything. Its so relaxing to just sit and listen to the rain and forest noises. There are plenty of pool and beach towels provided. Flor, the housekeeper, kept everything clean and fresh our entire stay. The Grounds: I could go on and on about the grounds! We loved having coffee outside in the mornings and never tired of the different colors of plants and flowers. The grounds includes a trail that is great for morning walks to see nature before the the world gets busy. The beauty of the grounds are thanks the Maracio who would also take the time to point out the several sloths, monkeys and birds that visited the home. And there were tons of monkeys! We had a group of capuchins visit during a pool day and a huge swarm of squirrel monkeys (with babies in tow) visit and use the house and yoga platform roof (highly suggest morning yoga here) as a wrestling ring! Toucans, hummingbirds, and butterflies also stopped by for us to gander at. The Food: We like to have family dinners and it was heartwarming to have them while on vacation at the large table in the family area. Chef Chris planned and provided hearty breakfasts and special dinners during our stay. He shops according to your budget and can make anything taste good!! The banana pancakes were to die for and served with eggs, bacon, and lots of fresh fruit. Chris even cooked up the fish the guys caught during their sport fishing excursion. The Concierge: None of this would be accomplished without the concierge, Lenin. From the very beginning Lenin was communicative and helpful. He planned all of our excursions in perfect order (we were able to get the guys fishing the same time us girls went on a horseback riding tour) and massages and spa treatments the day before we left. He made getting from/to the airport seamless and helped with taxis. Even when we had issues with ATMs Lenin was understanding. Suggestions for guests: - Bring some warm clothes for the bedrooms- the AC works very well! - Get some extra plantains to leave some pieces out for the monkeys - Large umbrellas (5-6) are provided at the house, so leave yours at home - Have some good playlists, the house has Sonos (you’ll have to download the app) - Always have your camera ready!

Villa Mariana is amazing. With fourteen guests we never felt cramped. The kids loved the pool, and every kind of wildlife visited daily after our excursions including a sloth! Having chef Over make our dinners was the icing on the cake. We all absolutely loved it. Costa Rica was a wonderful place to visit!
