Guest Access

Guests have complete privacy and exclusive access to the swimming pool, lush garden, and entire villa. There are no shared spaces, ensuring a fully private experience for you and your group.

The area now has newly paved roads, making transportation easier and more comfortable than in many other neighborhoods. Secure parking is available on the premises, with additional safe parking on the street.

Personalized check-in and check-out are provided upon arrival and departure.

Important Information About Tulum

Tulum is growing quickly, and construction takes place throughout the town. Some roads may be bumpy or unpaved, and certain areas can be noisy. However, there is currently no new construction near Casa Purusha, so the neighborhood remains peaceful. The new road also provides a smoother arrival.

Nature and Wildlife

Casa Purusha is located in the jungle, as is much of Tulum. You may see insects during your stay, which is a normal part of the local ecosystem. The villa is fumigated regularly, but occasional insects may still appear.

Please keep the following in mind:

• Do not leave food out, as it attracts ants and other creatures.
• Keep mosquito-net doors closed.
• The insects are not dangerous, so there is no need to worry.

Power and Utilities

As throughout Tulum, occasional power outages may occur. These are managed by the local electric company, CFE.

Refunds are not provided for power outages, Wi-Fi issues, water shortages, or natural disasters, including hurricanes. The team will monitor the situation and assist as quickly as possible.

Air Conditioning Usage

Electricity usage is monitored to support sustainable energy consumption.

• The daily allowance is 40 kilowatt-hours, which is generally sufficient for normal use.
• The electric meter is photographed at check-in and check-out.
• Electricity exceeding the allowance is charged at 40 MXN per additional kilowatt-hour.
• Turning off the air conditioning when it is not needed will help avoid additional charges.

Cleaning and Towel Service

Additional cleaning is available for 1,700 MXN per visit. This includes fresh towels but does not include changing the bed sheets.

Free towel changes are not required by Airbnb. If you need additional towels, please ask and the team will be happy to assist.

House Rules

Respect for the Space and Neighbors

Casa Purusha is not a party house. Please keep music at a reasonable volume, especially after 10:00 p.m. Loud parties are not permitted. Please respect the peaceful atmosphere of the villa and the surrounding neighbors.

• Do not flush toilet paper, tampons, or other non-biodegradable items. Use the provided bins.
• Do not place decorations on walls, doors, or windows.
• Flowers in vases and freestanding displays are permitted.
• Contact the team if you would like help decorating for a special occasion.
• Do not use balloons in the pool.
• Children are not permitted on the palapa roof for safety reasons.
• Do not stand on the pool lights.
• Use only biodegradable products in the house and drains. Organic amenities are provided.
• Do not pour heavy oils down the sinks. Use the kitchen oil container for excess oil.
• Do not flush toilet paper down the toilet.

Security and Visitors

The neighborhood is peaceful, and security is taken seriously. The property has an electric fence and six exterior security cameras. The cameras are not used to monitor guests inside the villa.

Camera locations include:

• Two cameras facing the front road
• Two cameras at the back of the house on the palapa, facing the back wall
• One camera facing the front door
• One camera facing the front wall

Do not tamper with or cover the cameras.

Only registered guests who have checked in may stay at the property. Additional guests and visitors are not permitted. Unapproved guests are charged 400 USD per night.

Additional Rules

• Smoking is not permitted inside the villa. Smoking is allowed outside by the pool.
• Shoes are not permitted inside the house.
• Only approved service providers, such as chefs, photographers, and massage therapists, may enter the property.
• Contact the team if you would like to arrange a service.
• Drugs and drug dealers are strictly prohibited on the property.
• Report any damage before it is discovered.
• Charges apply for stained or lost towels and other replacement items.
