Esteban and Rosamaria were very kind and gracious hosts! Their Hospedaje is clean and beautiful with nice outdoor seating areas, beautiful flowers, and comfortable beds and sleeping areas. We stayed for just two nights but would have been happy to stay for longer.

A very nice and cozy place, in the middle of nature and Luis had good communication and answered every question. It is close to everything. Highly recommended!

We only stayed here one night, though I wish we could have stayed longer. The room was clean and comfy, and the outdoor space was beautiful and great for bird watching! It was only a short walk to the cloud forest preserve, which was also a bonus. Esteban was very friendly, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

Esteban’s family retreat is a sweet little place to stay that is both convenient and clean. He even stayed up extra late to greet us when our flight was delayed several hours. You have your own private room with a porch for a base camp to explore all that the area has to offer. Safe and secure, this is a place you can count on.

Hospedaje Mariposas is beautifully situated with clean, well-kept rooms. The garden was filled with flowers and hummingbirds. Esteban was helpful and friendly. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay in Monteverde.

When we arrived we were placed in the apartment that we didn’t book. This was a downgrade from the Greta room that we booked. We were not contacted before we arrived that the room we booked was booked beforehand and we were also not offered a reduced price for the downgrade. The room we got was fine, however we are very disappointed in the service we were offered considering the host knew we were on our honeymoon from private messages.

Great place! Following Esteban's directions we made it there with no issues. The views are amazing and the host is great. We were upgraded to an entire apartment since they weren't using it and it was amazing.

A wonderful place to stay! Immersed into nature, a beautiful garden and terrace. The host was very friendly and accommodating, it was a pleasure to stay and I would highly recommend this place to anyone.
