The house was beautiful- saw so many birds from the deck. The pool was so relaxing and everything was just as described. The entire property is gated which made us feel extra safe. The air conditioning was so nice and worked well in each room and Gretel was very helpful with local recommendations. She also had laundry detergent delivered for us when I asked if there was any in the house. The restaurant a few doors down is excellent and we found ourselves there multiple nights. Highly recommend staying here if you want a peaceful, safe place near Manuel Antonio!

Absolutely beautiful house, with a pool, balcony, patio, with a private entry gate. Fully equipped kitchen with everything you need. Beds were very comfortable. Wildlife and plants made this a truly special place. Highly recommend.

The home was beautiful with wildlife right outside on the deck and the trees on the property. We had monkeys on the deck two different days, a sloth in the tree right outside and a Scarlet Macaw in the trees every day. It was close to everything and Gretel and Wilber were readily available.

Omg we had such a wonderful experience. The house is breathtaking! Me and my husband took our two recently graduates to experience Costa Rica they loved it! We saw macaws every morning and afternoon. There was a sloth in one of the trees! The house has all the amenities plus more. It’s such a beautiful home! We will definitely be booking again! Gretal was always checking in with us to make sure everything was going good. We loved it! Much more beautiful in person!

Casa Camino Viejo is a beautiful, fresh and clean home with lovely outdoor spaces and comfortable seating. The linens are high quality and king mattress was soft and comfy. The kitchen is fully equipped for meals in. Dining tables seat 6–8, and amenities like toiletries & coffee are a nice touch. A/C is available in each room, though we didn't use it much. The pool is nice and sun-warmed, and the pool bathroom was beautiful and convenient. Everything was just perfect! Now the fun Part: Wildlife. The titi (squirrel) monkeys visited many times. They are not shy, but are sweet and gentle, so don't be alarmed if they get too close for comfort. The capuchins gave us a surprise visit on the top porch one morning. A few of them let us know who was in charge, lol, so we gave them space & let them hang. They enjoyed the dead June bugs. Macaws ate from the almond tree right by the front door a few times. Had parrot and toucan fly-bys. The experience was 100% fabulous & we'd love to come back!

Greta's place was phenomenal. It is clean and peaceful, and the pool was a great place to cool off. We saw so much wildlife from our deck. I would highly recommend staying here and we hope to stay here again! Lovely area!

Our family of 6 had the most amazing stay at Casa Camino Viejo! The house is even better than the photos. We loved the pool and spent so much time on the deck watching the birds and monkeys. It feels very safe and private but is extremely convenient to everything to do in Manuel Antonio and Quepos! Cannot recommend this Airbnb enough.

We think this house is the best choice in Quepos for a small group. That's why we stay here every year! The open kitchen is great for cooking, eating and hanging out. Wildlife viewing on the deck is aways fun. The patio is a nice place to gather during the heat of the afternoon or when it's raining. And the pool area is was very thoughtfully designed. However, what truly makes the house the best place to stay is how attentive Wilberth and Gretel are! Wilberth checks in every morning and quickly addresses any questions or concerns. We do a lot of cooking so we ran out of garbage bags and got to the bottom of the lp tank. The tank was switched so fast supper wasn't delayed more than 15 minutes! We highly recommend this house just not for the week that we always have it in January ;-)

Casa Camino Viejo was exactly as described—a peaceful oasis near Manuel Antonio National Park and the beaches. The house was fantastic, offering plenty of privacy while still being close to everything we wanted to explore. We loved the layout and honestly could have slept all night in the hammocks. Gretel was a wonderful host: very communicative, welcoming, and incredibly helpful with recommendations for guides and places to visit.
