Villa Geisha is a loft-style cabaña for 2 in San Antonio Palopó, with a bedroom bathtub, fully equipped kitchen, outdoor dining, and sweeping Lake Atitlán views.
Overview
Bougavillage was designed to showcase breathtaking views of Lake Atitlán through comfortable, minimalist spaces.
The villa includes everything needed for an enjoyable stay:
- Fully equipped kitchen
- Outdoor dining area with mountain views
- Shower with mountain views
- Wi-Fi
- Direct access to the main road
- Parking for up to 14 vehicles
- Security cameras
The Space
Bougavillage consists of five villas within the same building. Each villa offers stunning views of Lake Atitlán and has its own distinctive features.
Villa Geisha is a loft-style accommodation arranged across two levels:
- First level: Outdoor dining area, kitchen, and full bathroom.
- Second level: Bedroom with a bathtub.
Natural Setting
Because Bougavillage is located in a mountainous area, guests may encounter various species of flora and fauna, including insects and lizards. This setting may not be suitable for guests who do not enjoy nature or adventure.
Food and Dining
The kitchen is well equipped and includes:
- Salt
- Sugar
- Cooking oil
- Olive oil
The nearest supermarket is in Panajachel, approximately 30 minutes away. If you plan to cook, we recommend purchasing your ingredients before arriving, as there are no convenience stores or restaurants within walking distance.
The nearest restaurant is a 10-minute drive away, and delivery services are not currently available in the area. Please plan your meals accordingly. We will be happy to share a list of recommended restaurants.
Design and Accessibility
With a contemporary design integrated into rugged terrain, Bougavillage combines modern amenities with a natural setting.
Due to the mountainous topography, guests must climb some stairs to reach the villas. An alternative entrance with fewer steps is available for guests with mobility limitations.
Large windows and double-height spaces are incorporated throughout the design to maximize the views of Lake Atitlán. Most villas feature an open loft-style layout, along with open bathrooms featuring contemporary and innovative designs.
Location and Transportation
Bougainvillea is located along the road connecting San Antonio Palopó with Aldea Agua Escondida. Although the road is busy, some sections remain unpaved. Guests arriving in their own vehicle are advised not to use a low-clearance car. A van or pickup truck is ideal, although a four-wheel-drive vehicle is not required.
Public transportation in the Lake Atitlán area is limited and not highly efficient. Uber and other transportation applications are also unavailable.
For transportation from Panajachel, Antigua, or Guatemala City, we recommend arranging a private transfer through one of the carriers we refer.

Very good place. If you're looking to rest and unwind, and if you want to be close to tourist attractions, this might not be the right choice for you, but the place is worth it—an excellent spot.

Villa Geisha was a dream. and I haven't waken up yet. The views from the home are breathtaking. The home matches the description, and too be honest, it's beyond my expectation. It is a bit challenging navigating how to get to the villa, but if you plan ahead and use the host's recommendations it'll be worth it. The villa was clean and well stocked. I will surely return and I recommend this stay to anyone traveling to Lake Atitlan!

A perfect place to enjoy the views, the weather, and to create memories forever! It had been a long time since I'd appreciated the stars so calmly; I love it! It's recommended to bring food and drinks for your stay, eye masks for sleeping, and some music to help block out the sound of vehicles going up the hill. The access via the spiral staircase is a bit tricky, but the incredible views make it worthwhile once you reach the top. So lovely!!!

The view… to die for!! Waking up with that view, bathing with that view,… Spectacular and healing Hyper equipped kitchen and apartment. Please note, you will need a means of transport to get there or can use their contacts for the rides. I traveled alone and worked remotely from there for a week and a half and loved staying so remote and adventurous. I rented a cuatrimoto and often cooked from the apartment
