The house was beautiful and had lots of thoughtful amenities. Very clean. Very close to downtown, everything is within walking distance. Boris was extremely responsive and worked to resolve a few minor issues as soon as they happened. He provided lots of options for different activities as well. Very pleased with our stay!

Beautiful home, looks just like the photos. Pool was great, town and beach are a short walk out the back gate.

We had a fantastic time at this vacation home! The location is really top, quiet, but still close to everything you need. The house itself is beautiful, tidy, tastefully furnished and equipped with every comfort. The host was also great: friendly, easily accessible and always willing to think along.

This place is absolutely amazing. The location couldn’t be better — you’re walking distance to everything you need, from great restaurants and cafés to shops and nightlife. It made the whole stay effortless.

This is such a beautiful home and a great location. A gated community a short walk from the beach, shops and restaurants. The pool was lovely and we had everything we needed to cook a couple of meals in.

Beautiful 2-story house, great Internet and A/C, quiet area, good beds and TV. Has every amenity you can imagine. We arrived at night in the general area but could not find the house. A local guard made a phone call and the host's son came to meet us and guide us to the house. An amazing thing about this property, which I have never seen before in at least 70 airbnb stays, is that a house cleaner and a pool cleaner come every day at about 10:00 am. We had our own rental car and it was an easy short drive into "downtown" (one main street) Tamarindo. It was also walkable. We didn't walk much because of the heat but we did walk to the supermarket.

We really enjoyed all the amenities of this Airbnb. We were 3 couples and there was lots of space. The proximity to the beach and downtown made it easy to enjoy Tamarindo. We had a rental car so enjoyed other local beaches. We highly recommend this Airbnb.

We loved our stay here for Tamarindo! The property was absolutely beautiful, and these were some of the best hosts we have ever had! They are very helpful and responsive, provided incredible recommendations and flexibility, and made the overall stay feel beyond what you expect from airbnb! Great stay, in a wonderful place, in a fantastic town! Superlatives aside, Eran, our host went above and beyond to facilitate & ensure our stay was what we needed. He was proactive & helped book activities & gave useful information. The house was as described with a short, walkable but rough road to town. Pool & outdoor area were ideal for relaxing. Definitely recommend & will return. Pura Vida indeed.

The house location is excellent, offering beautiful views and proximity to the beach. The house is well-maintained, cozy, and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities needed for comfort. This home was absolutely perfect for our holiday! The home was spotless and incredibly clean, making us feel comfortable and relaxed from the moment we arrived. The host was fantastic—their communication was prompt and helpful, which made everything so easy. We loved that it was just a short walk to town, which made exploring super convenient. An added bonus was the housekeeping service that came in twice during our 10-day stay to tidy up and refresh the place. We highly recommend this home and would definitely stay here again!

Casa Bernard IS the best place to stay in Tamarindo! Sparkling, clean amenities, contemporary, spacious floor plan with plenty of privacy, comfortable mattresses, stunning pool and garden!

The perfect spot in Tamarindo. We absolutely loved the space! We cooked breakfast each morning and had fantastic sleeps with the quiet neighborhood, comfortable beds and AC. The pool is fantastic and we really appreciated the short walk to the beach and town area. Having a quiet oasis to escape to was perfect and we cannot recommend this place enough. We’d would absolutely stay here again!

We had an absolutely wonderful week! The location is ideal: only a 10-minute walk to the beach, grocery stores, restaurants and shops. The pool is a real asset, impeccably maintained every day by Gretel, the gardener. We needed his help twice and he responded with great responsiveness and efficiency. We would highly recommend this place, without any hesitation.

Very nice house . This is not a house suitable for young children though. Min grandson fell down the stairs through the ramp.

Lots of outdoor dust because of the streets.

It would be nice to collect no garbage cans for this purpose.

We liked it but we will not return to Tamarindo everything is too expensive.

great location and family friendly house.

Loved the location where we stayed. It was private for access but the back entrance was easy access to walk (5-10min) to the beach. It wasn't clear when yard custodians were coming for property mgmt - we weren't sure who was jumping the wall vs. coming in from the neighboring rental. I thought the pool was temp regulated a bit warmer, but we dealt fine. Would just recommend locking up your belongings before you leave, but would stay again!
