The Space
Step into a coastal retreat designed with an indoor/outdoor living concept. Upon entering, you are greeted by stunning views of the Pacific Ocean. The main floor features an open layout that seamlessly blends indoor and outdoor spaces, allowing you to enjoy nature alongside modern comforts.
The fully equipped kitchen boasts high-end appliances, making meal preparation a pleasure. Spend your days relaxing on the terrace, swimming in the long lap pool, enjoying cocktails at sunset, and dining under the stars.
Upstairs, there are four spacious bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom. All rooms offer ocean views. The master bedroom includes a large covered terrace, perfect for morning yoga. King-size beds are provided in all rooms except the double room, which contains two queen beds.
The main floor also includes a versatile multi-purpose room with a queen/single combo bunk bed and a living area ideal for watching TV or hanging out. This room is perfect for kids, teens, or an extra couple, and it also has its own ensuite bathroom.

The property is situated just five minutes from Playa Carrillo, a favorite spot for morning walks. A secret beach is only a one-minute stroll away. Located at the end of a quiet dead-end street, the home offers a peaceful and private environment.

Included in your stay is a delicious breakfast prepared daily by Sonia, the gracious caretaker who lives in a separate apartment beneath the kitchen. Sonia is discreet and attentive, cleaning and tidying the house according to your schedule and ensuring a steady supply of fresh towels.
You can also book additional services such as meals prepared by Sonia, who doubles as an at-home chef, or arrange for massages. The co-host, Anggie, will assist you from arrival to departure, coordinating meals and connecting you with concierge services to help plan your adventures.
Guest Access
Guests have full access to the entire house. Sonia, the caretaker, resides in a private apartment downstairs and enters the home only to serve breakfast or meals you have arranged. She respects your privacy and schedules cleaning around your preferences.

This was our second time staying at this beautiful home, and once again, it did not disappoint! Costa Rica is truly our happy place, and we’re so glad we finally found an Airbnb that feels like our home away from home and somewhere we can return to every time we visit. The property is absolutely beautiful, incredibly clean, well-maintained, and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. Sonia is amazing—so kind, helpful, and wonderful to work with. We spent ten wonderful days at this beautiful Villa. The house met all expectations, was well maintained and super clean. The location is great with the ocean at the doorstep and the small town of Puerto Carrillo close by with groceries and restaurants. Sonia and the rest of the staff looked after us and spoiled us with amazing breakfasts. We had two dinners cooked by Sonia which were delicious. The attention from the tour company you recommended was perfect. Thank you for a great vacation.

We arrived during a horrible storm. The host kept us informed and safe the entire time the weather was bad and we lost electricity. The home had games and was stocked with lanterns so we were good through the night. They have solar generator so we were only without power for a little bit through the night. I honestly can’t say enough about the home and how beautiful and amazing Sonia (housekeeper/chef) was during our stay. Breakfast was made every morning. And for a party of 10 it was prompt and on-time everyday. The host (France) gave us a list of things we can do and book while in Costa Rica. The home was clean and stocked with everything you could possibly need. The hospitality and attention to detail for guests and what they may need was carefully thought out and provided. You can see the love put into this home. We will definitely be back!

Amazing place!!! I’ve stayed in some nice places and this one topped them all. Location, views, etc. Sonia, the live in chef/house keeper was amazing. Everything matched the description and then far exceeded my expectations.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home. Sonia, the caretaker, is truly amazing. The home is large and has a lovely patio and pool. The walkable beach, while a beautiful view and fun to visit for beachcombing and hermit crab hunting, isn’t for swimming. That said, Carrillo beach is just 5 minutes drive away, and larger Samara beach 15 minutes. We had a great time!

We had an incredible stay in Puerto Carrillo. The home is absolutely breathtaking, with stunning ocean views and a peaceful, private setting that made it hard to leave. Everything was exactly as described (if not better), and the space was perfect for our group. What really made the experience exceptional was the service. The in-house chef prepared some of the best meals we’ve had fresh, local, and memorable every time. The caretaker was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything ran smoothly throughout our stay. The location is ideal, close to beautiful Playa Carrillo, which quickly became one of our favorite beaches in Costa Rica. Quiet, clean, and not overcrowded. It felt like a true escape while still being a short drive to great restaurants and activities in Sámara. We made amazing family memories here and would absolutely come back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing, elevated Costa Rica experience.

Family of 6, we had a lovely time at the house. Setting was gorgeous, serene, and peaceful. Sonia and her staff were wonderful. The house is stunning and very well appointed. The local towns had lots to do: horseback riding, fishing, snorkeling. We would definitely return!

Our family of 9 adults had a fabulous stay at France's ocean front house. It was the best way to start the new year. The house is spacious yet cozy. The setting overlooking the pacific ocean is gorgeous. We spotted whales and dolphins right from our hammocks. It had all the amenities we needed. Sonya, the housekeeper, was very friendly, responsive and helpful. Her cooking was better than any restaurant we went to and we highly recommend her ceviche! We would definitely come back.

Lovely home and a great place for a relaxing and fun vacation. Close enough to beaches and restaurants but extremely private to stay home and relax. Staff was terrific and responsive. It was expensive but worth it for the wonderful experience
