The Property
Casa Tribal is a historic bungalow that once served as a café. It is located less than 200 meters from one of the quietest and most beautiful beaches in Puerto Viejo, with restaurants and grocery stores nearby.
The property is shared with a unique house bus and two other small houses. It offers a safe, friendly atmosphere surrounded by nature, with on-street parking next to the property and bicycle parking inside the grounds.
The Space
Guests especially appreciate Casa Tribal’s peaceful location. Although it is close to local amenities, the bungalow remains exceptionally quiet and relaxing. The interior stays pleasant, and the nights are calm.
One of Puerto Viejo’s most beautiful and peaceful beaches is only 200 meters away. You may hear many birds and occasionally see monkeys moving through the property and surrounding area.
We continually work to improve the bungalow whenever possible. It is a cozy space filled with personality, nature, tranquility, and the distinctive character of its historic heritage.

Parking and Bathroom
Parking is located next to the main road. It is not gated, but the area is very safe, and there have never been any problems.
The bathroom is semi-outdoor and offers complete privacy despite being practically outdoors.

The place is beautiful. It has very beautiful beaches nearby. The host was very nice and flexible. We felt so comfortable. Everything was clean and according to the description. We'd love to come back ✨🦥🌿

We enjoyed Nahuel Tobias's accommodation very much. Especially great was the proximity to the beach and a very nice beach. The place was surrounded by nature, but close to a street. On one side, this was a bit noisy, but it allowed you to reach everything quickly. Nahuel Tobias was very helpful and always responded to us quickly. We liked the Caribbean very much and definitely recommended.

I felt comfortable in the accommodation, everything you needed to cook was there. The beach was around the corner. Everything I can only recommend the accommodation to everything.

We had a great time at Nahuel's place. The surrounding is beautiful and a short walk gets you to the beach or into the forest with some sloths and monkeys. The monkeys also greet you every morning with their sounds. We took a tuktuk from Puerto Viejo which cost 4000 colones. We also rented a scooter nearby which was great to get around. However, there are many great restaurants in walking distance. Also, Nahuel was very helpful with the questions we had. We would definitely recommend this place!

I came to PV for a week of wellness classes so the bungalow was my "home base" for food, sleep and bathing. It was perfect for what I needed as a solo traveler. The kitchen was equipped with plenty of utensils and cooking equipment. There were no basic staples (oil, salt, etc). so if you plan to cook make sure you make a stop at the grocery store. I loved the outdoor shower! The bed was fairly comfortable and although it is a smaller, rustic accommodation I felt clean and cozy here. Nahuel was very communicative and helpful. Two things I wish I knew was that it is directly off the main road, as well as next to a big hotel, so there is noise at different times of the day. There are also other dwellings right on the property only some 10-30 meters away, so privacy is not optimal. However this did not impact my time here as I was not here many hours of the day. Wifi worked great and there's plenty of things (restaurants, grocery stores, bakery, bike rental) within a 15 min walk

Convenient walk to beach and to a few restaurants. WiFi was good and host was quick to respond. Refrigerator worked very well and shower was outside and very private with great hot water. We did get to hear and see a lot of howler monkeys. Thank you Tobias!!

Excellent location, the owner is very attentive and understanding There were a lot of mosquitoes the fan on the bed sounded a lot so it can't be used. Bathroom should be improved as well as house lighting We recommend it. Let's hope it gets better
