The Space

Kinamira is located just 1.8 miles from the golden sands of Playa Grande, offering a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature. The property is thoughtfully crafted with a blend of Costa Rican and Mediterranean influences, emphasizing well-being and attention to detail.

You can rent one of three private cottages, each featuring its own tranquil pool. These intimate cottages open to nature beneath thatched palm roofs. Whitewashed walls reflect natural light, while subtle blue accents evoke a refreshing sea breeze. During the rainy season, the gentle sound of the nearby river adds to the calming atmosphere.

The design of Kinamira encourages relaxation, reconnection, and socializing. Around the large shared pool, shaded by a palm roof, guests often gather for casual drinks from the self-serve mini bar or to unwind on sun loungers.

Cottage Features

Each cottage includes:

• A premium king-size bed with air conditioning and a smart TV equipped with Netflix
• A second sleeping area separated by a curtain, also with a king-size bed
• A fully equipped kitchen stocked with essentials such as coffee, tea, olive oil, and salt
• A semi-open bathroom featuring a spa-style shower, separate toilet, and organic, locally made bath products
• A spacious terrace with an outdoor living area, dining table, and a private 2 x 2 meter pool

From your terrace, you might observe local wildlife including howler monkeys, coatis, hummingbirds, and parakeets.

• A car is necessary to explore the region; the suite is accessible by all vehicle types. Motorbike and scooter rentals are available nearby.
• Laundry service is provided by staff. The first large bag of laundry is free; additional laundry will incur a charge.
• Liberia International Airport is about 1 hour away.
• Nearby are four of the region’s most beautiful beaches: Playa Grande, Playa Minas, Playa Conchal, and Playa Piratas.
