Own Retreat

One of the best stays we could have ever imagined. Book here. I promise you will not regret it! Upon arrival at this peaceful and idyllic location we immediately knew that we were going to have an incredible stay. We were greeted by Tiffany, who is so kind and attentive. The ocean front condo and grounds were clean, comfortable and the view from our private pool was simply breathtaking. We enjoyed watching the epic sunsets fade into darkness as the bright stars lit up the night sky on the private dock. Waking up to the birds and the ocean view is truly a restorative experience. Coffee and breakfast were divine at the on site Harvest Cafe. The kayaks and paddle boards were a great added option to explore. Additionally, we opted to have a couples massage on the beach, followed by one of the most delicious and romantic private dinners of our life, again on the private dock! Tiffany and her team set up everything and truly made this one of the most memorable vacations of our lives!

Tiffany and Ryan are exceptional and their place...a secret gem. The team and staff, including Liz and Amy, were attentive, caring and genuine. The food, the coffee and the cocktails are all top notch. We'll be back 🙏.

Staying at Ix Chel Wellness Resort was one of the best experiences we’ve ever had. It felt incredibly private, like we had our own little resort, with nothing but the sound of the water and total peace. Everything was spotless the casitas, the grounds, every detail was clean and thoughtfully designed. Harvest Café was a huge surprise easily the best breakfast and coffee on the island. We were told people drive 45 minutes just to eat there, and after trying it, it makes perfect sense. The highlight was the private sunset dinner. The setting, the view, the atmosphere it was unreal. Honestly, I don’t think I’ll ever experience a dinner like that again. It’s 100% worth it and something you can’t miss.

Ix Chel is such a beautiful property. The owners, Tiffany and Ryan, along with their staff are kind and loving people and I am so grateful to have visited. If you are looking for a peaceful vacation on a gorgeous and clean beach, where you can unwind and be nourished, this is the place for you. I must also mention that the food and drinks at The Harvest Cafe are clearly made with fresh ingredients and love. I’m already craving the banana bread and chocolate chai tea.

An absolute amazing location, Tiffany and Ryan were great hosts and always checking in to see if we needed anything. The casita is beautiful and comes with one of the best sunsets. Plunge pool was such an added bonus after a long day in the sun.

Our stay at Ix Chel Wellness Resort was incredible and one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. The casitas are beautiful with unbeatable ocean views and a peaceful atmosphere that truly feels like paradise. Waking up to the water just steps away and spending our days swimming & relaxing by the private pool was everything we hoped for and more. Tiffany & Ryan are exceptional hosts—warm, genuine, and incredibly personable. Tiffany made everything effortless by arranging our golf cart and dinner reservations, and both of them were always available with great recs and thoughtful help. You can tell they truly care about their guests and love what they’ve created here. The food at Harvest Café was outstanding—fresh, delicious, and the perfect start to each day. Between the amazing food, stunning views, and beautiful setting, Ix Chel is truly special. If you’re looking for an unforgettable stay near Secret Beach, don’t hesitate to book—this place is a gem. We loved our time at Ix Chell so much! Tiffany and Ryan were so great and always available to help us plan tours and get advice about what to do on the island. We can't wait to get back! The food at harvest Cafe is also amazing.

Pretty sure this was the nicest place to stay on Ambergris Caye. Can’t beat the ocean views from your bed, the peacefulness and the great food at the harvest cafe. We also enjoyed the private pool and kayaking, paddle boarding and swimming in the ocean. Ryan and Tiffany are awesome hosts and made us feel so welcome. They helped us with everything we needed and even reserved our golf cart. Don’t hesitate to stay here!!!

Ryan and Tiffany made us feel very welcome for our first visit to Belize. Our first day there was rain so we to change plans and they were so accommodating by letting us go with them to awesome restaurant in the San Pedro lagoon for Thanksgiving. The next day we went with a private fishing and snorkeling tour that hey had booked for us. We had a great time with Captain Jimmy and he even cooked our fish and made us conche ceviche from the conches we retrieved while snorkeling. That evening Tiffany and Ryan cooked and prepared for us a romantic evening in front of casita we were staying at , making it a very memorable dinner. We loved the coffee they brought to our casita in the morning and indulged in there delicious breakfast & drinks at the Harvest cafe. We definitely book with them again when we return to Secret Beach.

This place is truly magical. The most beautiful peaceful spot on the island. Definitely worth the 45 minute drive! The place is super clean and comfy. Tiffany and Ryan are amazing hosts. You are literally steps from the water. The private pool was awesome. We also did paddle boarding and kayaking- the water is calm and clear, was so much fun. Seriously felt like paradise!
