The Space
Casa Zorro is a spacious, secure family home featuring a private saltwater pool, two decks, an open lawn, and parking for two to three cars. The main deck overlooks the pool, allowing you to keep an eye on the children while preparing meals in the kitchen.
The home includes:

- A large upper deck
- An open grassy yard

The traditional Caribbean house has been renovated from top to bottom with Victorian-style details, including wainscoting, antique furnishings, and attractive light fixtures. Bright, airy spaces and excellent ventilation help keep the home cool throughout the day.
The large kitchen is designed with chefs in mind and includes high-quality appliances and plenty of counter space. Its layout provides a view of the pool while you prepare meals.
The entire family can gather in the open-concept living, dining, and kitchen area to watch a movie. At night, the French doors can be closed to keep the children comfortable and nearby.
An open staircase leads from the main floor to the open-air upper deck. With nearly 360-degree views, the deck is an ideal place to watch toucans and macaws, enjoy sunset cocktails, and observe troops of monkeys passing through the surrounding jungle canopy. The master bedroom, with its custom bathroom and washer and dryer, is also accessed from this deck.
The sun-filled garden contains a wide variety of plants and flowers that attract butterflies and hummingbirds. The grassy area is suitable for bocce, croquet, soccer, or frisbee. Bocce and croquet equipment is stored in the cabinet in the dining area.
Although the home is surrounded by a beautiful garden, it remains immersed in the jungle and its diverse wildlife.
Guest Access
Guests have full, exclusive access to the entire Casa Zorro property, including:
- The house
- Washer and dryer
- Saltwater pool
- Two decks
- Open lawn area
- Private entrance
- Private parking area
The hosts, Erinn and Darren, live next door in a one-story bungalow with their small dog, Foxy. They have their own fenced yard and private gate.
An attached apartment with a separate fenced garden and gate entrance is occupied by long-term renters Seth and Kait. They are a quiet couple; Seth plays jazz guitar at local restaurants, while Kait teaches yoga and breathwork and tends a beautiful herb garden in their fully enclosed private garden.
The apartment is separated from the house by a double wall to minimize sound transfer. A tall custom fence provides complete visual privacy for guests.

The house is beautiful, just as seen in the photos. Erinn is very friendly and is always willing to answer your questions and help you. There was a nice welcome surprise for us. The house was spotless, and everything worked perfectly. Our children enjoyed the pool. Playa Chiquita is a 2-minute drive and a 15-minute walk away. It's in a very good location. I would definitely come back! Erinn is by far the best host.

Erinn was one of the best hosts we've ever had the pleasure to meet! She was helpful, responsive and had a great energy. We loved the house and the pool and having access to a washer /dryer after much traveling was a huge bonus!

We were treated very well from the moment we arrived. An excellent host who helped us with any questions we had and was always available to us. A very clean place close to beautiful beaches, quiet, and super safe.

Excellent stay and a very kind host. Erinn ist extremely helpful and the house is a 10 out of 10. We loved the Interior and also the special Charakter of the house. You are able to hear the birds in the morning. As we have children it was very helpful that you can see the pool from the kitchen/living room.

This place is just amazing. I stayed for a week with my family of four (all adults). It’s even more beautiful than the photos, so comfortable, and the location is PERFECT. Less than a 10 minute walk to Playa Chiquita, the great little grocery store, and lots of great restaurants. Erin couldn’t be a better host - she was so responsive, had all the answers, and also gave us our privacy and made it easy for us to enjoy our vacation. We even ended up seeing her band perform on St Patrick’s Day, and it was so fun. It was always a treat to come back to Erin’s place, and it will be an even bigger treat when we come back again hopefully very soon.

We had an amazing stay at Casa Zorro. The house is spacious and lovely. It was great for making meals and relaxing on the patio while the kids enjoyed the pool. The upstairs desk was great for morning yoga and watching the birds and monkeys. We love staying in Playa Chiquita- there are so many yummy restaurants nearby and it's pretty quite yet surrounded by lots of beautiful wildlife and lushness. Having a water purification to be able to drink water and access to a washer & esp dryer was priceless since it can be humid here and sometimes harder to get things totally dry. We would definitely stay again! This is a wonderful wonderful find!

We stayed with 6 people and 3 dogs, Erinn was an excellent host, always communicative, attentive and accessible. The house is beautiful, spacious and with all the amenities one could wish for in a stay. Playa Chiquita is within walking distance and easily accessible. Our experience was a 10/10, we will definitely come back.
