Veracruz was founded in 1519, and its historic center is home to the first settlements in continental America. Casa Altavista is located 25 minutes from Veracruz’s historic center and just minutes from the ocean and Laguna de Mandinga, an area known for its delicious Veracruz cuisine. It is an ideal setting for relaxing and spending time with family or friends.

The popular Gran Café de La Parroquia and Villa Rica Seafood restaurants are less than a five-minute drive away.

During the day, explore the historic city of Veracruz or enjoy the amenities at Casa Altavista. Guests can use the gym’s treadmill and exercise bicycle, swim in the pool, play mini soccer, practice yoga, watch television, play Xbox games, sunbathe by the pool, admire the views, or relax in the jacuzzi.

Television entertainment includes Megacable HD service and access to HBO Max, Prime, Star+, Disney+, and Apple TV. Xbox games can be streamed on any television, and two controllers are provided.

Guest Access

Casa Altavista offers four fully equipped bedrooms. Each bedroom includes:

• Xbox streaming
• Desk
• Electric blackout blinds
• Indirect lighting
• Air conditioning
• Private full bathroom

The property also features comfortable, elegantly decorated common areas designed to support a restful stay. Guests enjoy complete privacy throughout the property.

A charcoal grill is available for barbecues, along with a wood-fired oven for preparing pizza. Guests can enjoy their pizza with fine wines stored in the kitchen’s wine refrigerator.

The small gym is available for adults and includes:

• Treadmill
• Exercise bicycle
• Weights
• Exercise chair

Airport pickup and drop-off can be arranged for an additional fee. If you plan to explore Veracruz’s historic center and surrounding areas, renting a car is recommended for convenience.

Casa Altavista also offers an independent boat-rental service for river tours and water skiing. With at least 72 hours’ advance notice, guests can rent a boat for up to 14 people. The service is charged by the hour and is for exclusive use on the river.

Optional Services

For an additional cost, guests can arrange independent services to enhance their stay:

1. In-house chef for breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner without leaving the property
2. Daily general cleaning
3. Relaxing massages or physiotherapy sessions with lagoon views
4. Yacht trips on the sea and/or lagoon
5. In-home pizza experience
6. Pizza-making lessons at home

These services are not included as part of the property but are recommended by the host. Guests who have used them so far have been very satisfied.

All services require a reservation at least 72 hours before arrival and are subject to availability. Please check with your host.
