Flowers Vacation Rentals proudly presents Slow Loris, a beachfront home surrounded by native vegetation and palm trees in a quiet, off-the-beaten-path area of Placencia. Located less than 1 mile from the airstrip, the property offers three decks, extensive outdoor living space, barbecue facilities, sunbathing areas, and an infinity pool.

The living room and two bedrooms are arranged around the spacious main deck, which provides views of the sunrise.

The Space

From the rooftop deck, you can take in views across the entire peninsula while enjoying sunset cocktails. A studio at beach level sits just steps from the sea.

Slow Loris was originally designed and built in the late 1990s as three small houses on an elevated platform surrounded by native beach vegetation. In 2022, the property was fully remodeled to add living space, an infinity pool, and a pool deck. The original character of the home was preserved, creating an open, nature-integrated atmosphere.

Room-by-Room Description

• The elevated main deck is accessible by stairs from the beach level and offers ample space for relaxing throughout the day.
• Three separate structures connect to the main deck:
  • Two air-conditioned bedrooms.
  • An air-conditioned living room with a kitchen.
• Both bedrooms feature:
  • Spacious interiors.
  • One queen-size bed and one double-size bed.
  • Private bathrooms.
  • Large windows overlooking the lush vegetation, beach, and Caribbean Sea.
  • Air conditioning for comfortable nights.
• The living room is a large communal space with a modern kitchen and wide doors opening directly onto the main deck.
• Stairs from the living room lead to the rooftop deck, which offers panoramic views of the peninsula and a setting for sunset cocktails.
• A beach-level studio with a kitchenette can serve as a third bedroom.
• The studio is air-conditioned and includes a porch level with the beach, just steps from the water.

The home is designed for outdoor living and includes three decks:

Slow Loris is situated on a quiet, less-developed section of Placencia Beach, less than 1 mile from the local airstrip.

• Placencia town, with its picturesque shops, restaurants, and bars, is 2 miles south.
• Seine Bight, a local community with grocery-shopping facilities, is slightly more than 1 mile north.
• The beach has very little foot traffic.
• The water is calm.
• A steady breeze is common.
• Pelicans and other birds can often be seen diving into the water.
