The Space
This two-story boutique villa offers breathtaking views of the ocean and jungle. It features three master bedrooms with air conditioning, a TV room, a chef’s kitchen, and a garden firepit. The dining area includes a table that seats 10 guests. Additional amenities include a pool with lounge chairs, a terrace, private parking, WiFi, and 24-hour security. Cleaning service is included.
The villa is thoughtfully designed for comfort and equipped to provide an ideal vacation experience. The owners lived here for one year and have decorated the home with beautiful furniture and artwork collected from around the world. An outdoor shower adds extra convenience. The property is surrounded by a small permaculture garden filled with fruits, vegetables, medicinal herbs, and aromatic plants.
Location
Located in the heart of Santa Teresa, the villa sits on a mountain overlooking some of the best surf breaks. It is just minutes from the beach and close to restaurants, boutiques, and shops.
Guest Access
- A 4x4 vehicle (car, quad, or motorcycle) is recommended to reach the property.
- After parking, guests must climb approximately 25 stairs to reach the house.
- The housekeeper will assist with luggage.

- This property is not suitable for children under 7 years old or elderly guests who have difficulty walking.

Renter beware. This house is not sealed off to the outside elements of Costa Rica. This should be offered as a glorified Tree House as that is how it is setup. Upon arrival, there were multiple large spiders all over the house, as well as a centipede and a cock roach in one of the beds. The bathroom walls downstairs do not connect to the cieling with approx 1ft opening allowing any animal to come in. The house appeared that it had not been rented in a while, and it was not cleaned prior to our arrival. We found trash under the beds, critters & cobwebs everywhere. If you are looking for glamping, this is your place. If you want to feel safe after a long day in the elements, this is not for you. Lastly, as many reviews pointed out, the pictures of the house, property and views are very outdated. The trees are very over-grown, limiting the views which is the best feature of this property. We vacated the property 20 min after check-in.

This place made me want to move there. Stunning views and house. Haha quite a steep driveway and steps up though, but no problem if you’re able-bodied. Highly recommend

The house itself was well appointed and matched the photos. Jairo the house manager was very nice and response. Be aware there are ALOT of stairs (60 steps) to get up to the house and it’s up a VERY steep drive. You MUST have a 4x to access. It’s also not really walkable, especially if you’ve had a few cocktails. The view is very pretty and the rooms were very nice.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour chez Brano, à tel point que nous l’avons prolongé de 3 nuits! La vue est incroyable, et la maison est au calme dans la nature malgré la proximité du centre ville. Nous avons même aperçus plusieurs singes et coatis depuis le jardin! Meilleure maison si vous souhaitez loger à Santa Teresa!
