This adventurous retreat invites you to slow down your pace of life—walking slow, thinking slow, and talking slow. The environment remains pristine and untouched, where guests coexist harmoniously with local wildlife and the Mexican community that supports the property.

The Space

Casa McGann is a luxury estate situated on the sandy shores of Punta Pescadero (meaning "point of the fisherman"), where the sun shines approximately 350 days a year. Experience world-class fishing in the calm waters of the Sea of Cortez, where waves are only created by the wind. On windless days, the sea is as smooth as a lake, eliminating swells, seasickness, and long boat rides.

Fishing trips typically last one to three hours, with pickup directly on the beach in front of the house at 8 AM—usually enough time to catch your dinner. If you prefer not to fish, fresh fish or lobster caught that morning can be delivered to you, and cooked upon request.

Under new management, the estate now includes a private chef and a professional massage therapist. Enhance your evening by the pool with live two-person guitar music, creating a truly serene atmosphere where the stresses of everyday life fade away.

Walk for miles along the beach without encountering anyone or vendors—just uninterrupted natural beauty.

Guest Access and Amenities

The house features:

• Travertine flooring throughout
• Marble and granite countertops
• Marble bathrooms
• Slate surrounding the pool area
• Palapa bar and sitting area on the beach, perfect for reading and relaxing

Maria, your maid, will maintain the property impeccably during your stay, handling dishes and laundry. Rogelio, the property manager and private chef, is available daily to assist with your needs. He speaks fluent English, ensuring smooth communication and coordination of activities.

Sleeping arrangements include:

• Two master bedrooms:
  • One with a king-sized bed and private bathroom
  • One with a queen-sized bed sharing a full bathroom with a bunk room that sleeps four
• Additional sleeping space on couches or pool lounge chairs

There is an option to rent two extra bedrooms with a shared bathroom in the main house, accommodating up to 12 people in total. Please inquire about additional costs and availability. Note that when guests occupy the guesthouse, no one will be in the main house, and vice versa.

Additional Information

Please bring the following items:

• Passport
• Notarized authorization for any minors traveling without both parents
• Sunscreen, hats, swimsuits, sunglasses, and sandals
• Light windbreaker (recommended December through March)
• International cell phone access (arranged before arrival)
• Your own liquor and food, which can be purchased en route from the airport

Fresh tortillas from the village of Cardonal can be delivered daily through Rogelio, who also serves as your concierge.

Avoid importing beef or chicken into Mexico. If desired, you may stop at Costco on your way to the property to stock up for an extended stay (adds approximately 1.5 hours plus shopping time).
