Chat and Chill is a charming over-the-water bungalow with a peaceful, relaxed atmosphere. The staff were amazing—friendly, helpful, and welcoming, and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. We especially enjoyed the outdoor shower, giving a refreshing and unique experience to start the day. Waking up to the beautiful sunrise views over the water was definitely a highlight. The property is well lit, which made arriving feel comfortable. We did end up needing to leave early, and we truly appreciated the kindness and understanding of the owner, which meant a great deal to us. We enjoyed our stay and would gladly recommend it to anyone that loves glamping, a very accurate description.

I recently stayed at this property, and while it had some nice features overall, there were several issues that made the stay not so ideal. Cons: The host's communication was inconsistent, contradictory & very unhelpful, leaving me uncertain about several aspects of the stay. The property is far from town, with a 45-minute drive each way, & the roads are in terrible condition – bumpy, rocky, and hazardous even for a golf cart. Mosquitoes were relentless, & the presence of crocodiles nearby was a concerning surprise. Limited number of food, grocery, and entertainment options are available nearby, & the property's furniture, although functional, was old & very uncomfortable. Pros: The pier with kayaks & paddleboards was a lovely feature, & the pool was enjoyable. The washer & dryer were a welcome convenience. Areas in Need of Improvement: The linens & white wash cloths are very dingy & need replacement. Drinking water was available, if it was cold it would be much better.

We liked the quiet location, far enough away from the chaos of san pedro, but a golf cart drive away from secret beach, super close to white sands dive shop, and a few great restaurants seconds away (sun deck and portofino). The condo had everything we needed (except coffee and basic condiments), but we preferred to eat out anyways. Super clean with an amazing view. You cannot beat the price, I would highly recommend!

The unit was comfortable but pretty dated and worn. The location is also pretty far from most amenities. For a first visit to San Pedro, I would recommend staying closer to town. The golf carts you rent in town to commute back and forth are in terrible condition, but the roads are even more so, so having to go back and forth to town for basic necessities, is trying.

First Vacasa contact we had before arriving was awesome. She arranged awesome tours and transportation. Once we arrived to island, we had different contact that was not helpful. Bedroom air conditioning did not work well and there were issues with water. There is tons of large construction vehicles and issues with road that would have been helpful to be aware prior to arrival.
