The Space

Mi Casita Soñada is perfect for solo travelers or couples on a budget. This charming, detached studio is situated behind the beachfront house on the property and has its own private entrance. It is just steps away from the Panga Drops surf break and within walking distance of Playa Colorado and Los Perros surf breaks.

Guests can access the beach through one side of the main house. Access to the swimming pool is available only when the main house is not rented. Housekeeping staff handle laundry services using the washer and dryer in the main house, and this service is included with your stay.

This studio is located within the Hacienda Iguana development, renowned for its world-class surf breaks. Four surf spots are within walking distance: Playa Colorado, Panga Drops, Los Perros, and Playa Amarillo (walkable at low tide). The area also features a beautiful 9-hole golf course that is well maintained and affordable for guests.

Grocery Shopping

The best place for groceries is La Colonia in Rivas, located 100 meters south of the turnoff for Tola on the west side of the street. It is advisable to stock up on groceries for your entire stay here. Fuel stations are also available nearby in Rivas.

Getting Around

The property is approximately a 2 to 2.5-hour drive from Augusto C. Sandino International Airport in Managua and about 4 hours from Liberia Airport in Costa Rica. Major car rental agencies operate at the Managua airport, and advance reservations are recommended.

A four-wheel-drive vehicle is only necessary if you plan to visit beaches further south in the San Juan del Sur area. For those who prefer not to rent a car, we can arrange airport transfers, daily sightseeing, and surf trips.

Motorcycle and scooter rentals are available, and we can organize vehicle and boat transportation to other nearby surf breaks. Additionally, Alamo and National have rental offices near Hacienda Iguana.
