Casa Guadua is an apartament, design for two people. 20 minutes walking to the puerto viejo villages, you find , restaurants,farmacy, ATM. 3 minutes walking, you can find a chocolate laboratory, and botanical garden( finca la isla permaculture farm). on your way to the beach. The nearest beach is black sand is 5 minutes walking from casa Guadua, also on your way to the beach you will find a small grocery shop, a private health care 40 minutes walking you get to Cocles beach . Kimaura's service is unique, we really felt super good with her and she is a very kind person. From the back of the accommodation you can see animals, we saw several times guatusas. The place was super clean and they have everything for you to make your own food. The water in the accommodation is potable, so you don't have to worry about that aspect. You just have to consider that the accommodation is on the second floor.

The house is in a good location, very clean, spacious and comfortable. The service was excellent, from before we arrived, until we arrived and during the stay, Kimaura was very attentive to us at all times and very helpful. We felt that we were treated in a friendly and warm manner, in short, we would return.

- Kimaura's "staff" that might check you in is a tuk tuk driver named Valentino. He lives next door to you and I only saw him with other Italians during the time I was there. - It's a 10 minute walk to the beach, through a road that is somewhat empty for half of the way except for some dogs then another stretch of that same road that has normal people mixed with drug addicts. - Valentino is not super open to non-Italians if he is not getting paid to drive them around. That's a bit of an understatement. In general, he and the people he had over had a rather sketchy vibe. Being able to hear him clearly through the wall didn't make this better at all. - The location is definitely quiet for Puerto Viejo, but you will have some distance to cover to get anywhere. The mini-market that is 7 minutes away mostly has snacks and the lady there tried to overcharge me when she realized that I was an English speaker. There is still a little sound of music at night. - Kimaura is very attentive.

We've been very comfortable with this listing. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay and the host's service is excellent, very attentive and always willing to help, something we want to highlight. In addition, it is very well located, very close to the village and also to the beach. Definitely a great option in Puerto Viejo.

We highly recommend staying with Kimaura. She is a SUPER HOST, the apartment is excellently equipped with everything you need and more, the details are super well thought out, very clean and also very well located to visit everything from Puerto Viejo. We would definitely go back! We had an amazing time and felt super comfortable.

What a nice place to stay! The apartment was spacious, clean, and well equipped. It was surprisingly cool at night with the fan, so no AC wasn't a problem. The forest behind allowed us to see monkeys and tocans right from the kitchen! It's only a few minutes to walk to the beach and town. We appreciated being jn a quiet location. Kimaura was an excellent host, she checked in to make sure everything was ok. We really appreciate being able to find such a nice, affordable place to stay.

The place is very nice and very cool. It's very quiet and pleasant. Neighbors are very friendly. You can cook freely because it has everything you need. It is very clean, full of living nature. You can hear all kinds of wild animals, even the congos give a concert, ha, ha, ha. You can't miss the rooster that wakes you up in the morning with his crowing. I would like to recommend it to all my family and friends and all those who want to go and relax for a few days. Kimaura is a 100 note, an excellent person.
