The Space
Starting November 2023, the Jungle Hub offers more than just two bungalows for rent; the entire property, including the main house where I previously lived, is available. The Jungle Hub features five double bedrooms and provides complete privacy. It can accommodate up to 10 guests comfortably, or up to 12 if including the sofa single beds in the TV room.
The main house includes:
- A fully equipped kitchen on the ground floor
- A bathroom with a washing machine
- A living room with a smart TV and two single beds that serve as sofas
Upstairs, there are two double bedrooms sharing a bathroom with a shower that overlooks the jungle. One bedroom faces the ocean and sunrise, while the other looks out over the jungle. The master bedroom features a bathtub.
The adjacent bungalow contains a king-size bed and a private bathroom. Another bungalow has two double bedrooms: one downstairs facing the jungle and one upstairs facing the ocean. These bedrooms share a bathroom with a shower and a separate toilet.
Guests have exclusive access to the pool, common outdoor areas, and gardens. The main house also offers a roof terrace perfect for enjoying the sunrise or stargazing at night. The full moonrise from this vantage point is particularly spectacular.
Additional amenities include 100 Mbps fiber optic Wi-Fi and maid service every other day from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Guest Access
Guests have full access to the entire property, including the gardens and roof terrace. The terrace is ideal for stargazing, watching the ocean sunrise, or practicing yoga.
Location and Other Details
Choosing to stay at the Jungle Hub is an ecological decision. The property features open spaces without air conditioning and an architectural design tailored for nature enthusiasts.
While a 4x4 vehicle is recommended for the area in Costa Rica, it is not required to reach the Jungle Hub.

Our host was amazing and the Jungle Hub was a wonderful experience for our family reunion. We had a great time staying there for almost a full week. We enjoyed nature, local animals (monkeys, birds, pizotes, guatusas). We heard and experienced the jungle from the safety and comfort of a fully equipped house. Our host was always responsive and helpful with local recommendations. I’d definitely recommend it!

Definitely felt immersed in the jungle but just a few minutes from Montezuma. No need for AC when the breeze moves through the house. The entire home opens up into the surrounding nature. The highlight was waking up to the sounds of the jungle.

We loved our stay at jungle hub! The place is beautiful we didn’t want to leave to explore the town. The design is thoughtful and modern and the house is HUGE. The price is great for the stay. Carla is a charming and attentive host. You will definitely want a car as the place is not walkable or bikeable.

Great stay at Carla’s, it’s right in the canopy, we saw howler monkeys daily & had a wonderful display from a vulture that landed on the balcony. Carla was very proactive & made us feel right at home! What an incredible place to call home!

We really enjoyed this beautiful home & special experience as a family! The home is spacious with so many spaces to enjoy! You get the jungle and the ocean all at once and it’s an incredible place to take it all in! Magical! It definitely pushed our comfort zones to be so immersed in nature and I’m so grateful for that and all the memories we made! I would stay again! Carla the host is so kind and super helpful to meet you at check in and show you around so you can optimize your experience. As another reviewer mentioned her Italian cooking skills are unmatched; she made us such a lovely meal one of the nights! She offered so many great recommendations & connected me with local experts ahead of our stay so I could schedule a few experiences to enhance our stay! Ask about massages from Bruno (one of the best massages I’ve ever had!) Eduardo is a local guide that is so knowledgeable about everything Costa Rica has to offer! We did a Bioluminesce boat tour with him and it was amazing!
