Casa California offers a great option for those wanting to stay near town and enjoy its attractions. Situated on a hill, the property provides impressive views of San Juan del Sur Bay. The house includes one bedroom with air conditioning, internet access, a pool, and cable TV. It is approximately a 5-minute drive or a 15-minute walk along the scenic bay to reach the town center.

Electricity Usage

The rental price includes 40 kWh (kilowatt-hours) of electricity per day, equivalent to 24 hours of usage. If your consumption exceeds this limit, an additional charge of $0.45 per kWh will apply. Any extra fees must be paid in cash upon departure. You may give the payment to the caretakers, who will notify the owner.

The Space

The house features an open design that connects easily to the outdoors and is close to nature. However, guests should exercise caution with valuables. Keep items such as iPads, phones, and cameras secured inside the rooms, as theft can occur due to local economic conditions.

The caretakers, Bayardo and Petrona, live in a small unit on the lower floor adjacent to the house. If you prefer minimal interaction, please inform them so they can maintain distance. They handle security and daily cleaning, and communicate any issues to the owner. Respectful behavior towards them is expected.

Guest Access and Safety

Guests have access to the entire house. The property is not recommended for very young children or elderly individuals because of stairs and elevated areas that may pose safety risks. Children should be supervised to prevent falls, especially around the pool area, which requires responsible adult supervision.

Rates and Policies

• Holiday rates are $450 per night with a minimum stay of three nights during Easter, Christmas, New Year's, July 19th, and Independence Day.
• Any additional electricity charges must be settled in cash at checkout through the caretakers.
