The Space
Alma Pacifica, meaning "Pacific Soul," is the largest villa at Jungle Creek, a boutique bed and breakfast property with only five apartments. This distinctive octagon-shaped home offers approximately 1,800 square feet of interior living space, complemented by an additional 1,500 square feet of poolside terrace. It comfortably accommodates up to eight guests across three bedrooms and four beds: king beds in the master and second bedrooms, and a queen and double bed in the third bedroom.
The villa features an open layout nestled in the jungle, with two private entrances and a shared outdoor living area overlooking a beautiful pool and lush jungle scenery. Inside, vaulted wood ceilings, cedar doors, and tasteful tile, stone, and wood details create a warm and elegant atmosphere.
The fully equipped kitchen includes modern appliances and a propane barbecue on the deck, ideal for meals prepared by a local chef. Entertainment options consist of a 50-inch flat-screen TV with cable in the living room and a 40-inch TV in the master bedroom.

Jungle Creek is situated in the central Manuel Antonio neighborhood known as Valle Pura Vida. True to its name, the property is surrounded by rich natural beauty and abundant wildlife, with a picturesque creek flowing behind the grounds.
This quiet residential area is perfect for nature enthusiasts and is conveniently located within a 10-minute drive of:
- Manuel Antonio National Park
- Playa Espadilla (main beach)
- Quepos (supermarkets)
- Pez Vela marina
Adventurous guests can hike to two lesser-known beaches and one of Manuel Antonio’s few waterfalls within 45 minutes. A bus stop is located just a five-minute walk away, with buses running every 15 minutes to the beach, national park, and Quepos.

The place was nice. We had the pool just in front of the appartement. Even if it is shared, there were no other neighbours, therefore we had the pool and terrace all for ourselves. We would rent again.

Great location — minutes by car to almost everything. A highlight of our stay was the wildlife you can enjoy simply by sitting outside: monkeys, red macaws, toucans, and more. The unit was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The howler monkeys start calling around 5am, but we actually enjoyed listening to them as part of the experience. If you’re not an early riser, earplugs would easily solve that.Our only issue was the check-in process. We received the code for the exterior gate but not the code for the unit itself. I tried contacting Kent through the Airbnb app (which indicated responses within 8 hours) but didn’t hear back right away. Fortunately, another guest had Kent's number and contacted him for us. Near the end of our stay, another guest experienced the same issue, so we recommend confirming you receive both access codes in the arrival instructions.Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this accommodation.

Wow! We had an amazing stay. Beds were super comfortable, nice fluffy towels and solid water pressure. We had wifi issues, but it was barely noticed. Parking was solid and right up against the property. We saw monkeys by the pool on our last morning, heard howler monkeys and saw looks of birds. Loved our stay here!

The arrival was a bit chaotic because we did not have the access code to the villa, but when we were able to enter everything flowed. The place is beautiful, very close to Quepos and Manuel Antonio. The house was super comfortable, surrounded by nature, the pool and amazing terrace. Giselle from housekeeping is very friendly. I recommend it!

This is a great place to stay very accessible to Quepos, Manuel Antonio, and the marina. The wildlife at house is amazing we saw Squirrel Monkeys & Macaws, and the plants and vegetation around the house is fantastic.

The house is beautiful, with spacious and comfortable rooms. The outdoor space is equipped and very enjoyable. Privacy and a good view. The only thing is that we thought we were closer to the park, but the accommodation itself is in Quepos and not in Manuel Antonio, and it's not the same...

Beautiful grounds. It felt very secure and welcoming. The pool/cabana area was amazing. We saw monkeys playing in the banana trees. An iguana was scurrying around daily. Beautiful bright butterflies. We were truly living in the jungle. Super close to the national park and beach. Highly recommend this place and host.

Jungle Creek was a perfect place for our family of five. The villa is lovely, cool, and well-appointed. We spent lots of time on the patio eating our meals and watching birds, lizards, monkeys, and other wildlife. Jayme and Kent were easy to communicate with and shared good advise for visiting the area.
