Lisa, Thanks for sharing your beautiful house with us. We really enjoyed the pool and the landscaping and the view of the ocean. Phillipe, your caretaker was great to work with and very helpful with suggestions of things to do and places to visit.

I can't say enough about how positive my experience was from start to finish and beyond. Lisa is a delightful human and an incredibly attentive and responsive host. This was my first trip to Costa Rica; I spent a LONG time sifting through listings to find exactly what I wanted to celebrate my 50th birthday: a beautiful place where I felt special, a soaking tub, a pool, a view, and privacy. This house fits the bill 100%. Getting on and off the property is relatively easy, although I recommend 4x4 to cover your bases. Grocery, beach, restaurants, & markets are all within ~10 min drive. The house and property are impeccably clean & maintained. The acres of rainforested areas of the property did not disappoint, either. There's a family of toucans that like to visit on a couple of the trees just down the hill beyond the pool, monkeys in the distance, mosquito-eating cute little gecko friends, butterflies galore; you name it. I will absolutely stay here if I travel to Uvita again.

Everything was perfect. Lisa is a great host. The view and the house are amazing. We hope to come back soon!

If you are looking for an off the beaten track get away with all the comforts of home, this place cracks all the boxes. Very spectacular spot with Howler monkeys, beautiful flora, abundant fauna and incredible views of the Pacific. Very closed to the beach and nice yoga studios. The best restaurant in town (Citrus) is situated at 8 minutes drive, so convenient. We can’t ask for anything more. Our stay was incredible - such a lovely house with everything we needed. Certainly one of the nicest houses I’ve ever stayed in.. Sonya, the property manager met us in town after our flight and led us to the house. She was attentive and gave us great suggestions for things to do. Lisa, the owner is exceptional, super quick to respond if we had additional questions or requests throughout the week. Feel very privileged. We already reserved for next year :) Pura Vida !

When we walked into this airbnb for the first time, we didn't think it was real. The view, pool and design of the home are incredible. Of all the places we have visited in the world, this was the best airbnb we have stayed in. Every day at 2:30 pm a group of toucans would visit the neighbouring fruit trees and by sunset you could hear the monkeys in the trees. There was an endless array of wildlife that would visit the home like humming birds and a few coatis. The list of recommended restaurants in the area were awesome (Bamboo & Citrus) and it's not far from all the beaches or a boat ride to Cano island for diving. This home is a real gem to find. It's very well designed, well sized for a family or a group of friends. We gave this a 5/5 for everything.

Lisa and Jasons place is just amazing. The pictures donc do justice to what it really is . When you first step outside in the backyard you immediatly get this wow feeling. The kitchen is very well furnished with everything you need. They have a small cooler boogie board andchairs for the beach the house is beautyfull and no neighbors around so you feel all alone with the wilderness. We saw many toucans and howling monkeys everymorning. Had siestas in the hamock area and some good Bbq . The jouse is away from uvita but worth the small drive to have this unique quietness

This was the best air b n b we’ve ever stayed in by far. The host chatted with us about our future stay weekly, sent us photos and gave us tips on activities around the area. We had planned on many more activities but ended up staying almost everyday. The moment we got there we felt like were in paradise. We would recommend this villa to anyone we meet. Please do yourself a favour and enjoy Casa de la vida!!

We really enjoyed our time at this house! It's very spacious so you have enough space to relax. The best part was actually the terrace with the pool. So amazing. You have a really nice view to the pacific ocean and the Osa Peninsula. And when you get up early in the morning you can even see the sun rising behind the mountains, very beautiful. It's very quiet as well, so you just hear the sounds of the nature and there are lots of animals you can see. The house is moder and clean. So there is everything you need. Totally recommend to stay at this great place!
