Frequently Asked Questions

Grill We have an excellent grill, perfect for enjoying outdoor meals.

Heated Pool The pool is naturally heated with solar panels. During colder months, we recommend using the gas heater for added comfort. This service has an approximate cost of $1,200 MXN per use, depending on weather conditions and desired temperature, and is paid directly to the caretaker. Important: this fee reflects only the actual gas consumption, with no additional charges.

Pets We are happy to welcome up to 2 well-behaved pets. We kindly ask that they do not enter the pool or go on beds or sofas.

WiFi The internet is fast and reliable, suitable for remote work. As with any natural setting, occasional power outages may occur, although they are not frequent.

Grocery Service The caretaker can assist with shopping in Malinalco (market, pharmacy, convenience stores) for $200 MXN, or in Tenancingo (Chedraui) for $400 MXN, using our pickup truck.

Additional Staff If you would like extra support during your stay, we can arrange trusted staff for approximately $600 MXN per day (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM).

Natural Setting The house is located in the countryside, just 5 minutes from the town of Malinalco. The property is regularly treated; however, being surrounded by nature, you may occasionally encounter insects, arachnids, or other harmless animals.

Events & Gatherings To maintain the peaceful atmosphere, parties and weddings are not allowed. You may host up to 6 additional visitors between 11:00 AM and 8:00 PM for meals or small gatherings.

Outdoor music after 10:00 PM and the use of personal speakers or sound systems are not permitted.

Check-in / Check-out Check-in is at 3:00 PM and check-out at 12:00 PM. If availability allows, we are happy to be flexible and will confirm a few days prior to your arrival.

Caretaker Presence Our caretaker visits the property a couple of times a day to maintain the pool and gardens. If you prefer a stay without staff presence, we kindly recommend considering this before booking.

About the House

This is a small and elegant weekend home located just outside Malinalco, ideal for a peaceful stay surrounded by nature. It features a beautiful pool designed by interior designer Tatiana Barbara, seamlessly integrated into a lush garden.

The spacious and inviting terrace brings together the kitchen and living area, creating a perfect space to relax and spend time together.

The property is located next to Casa Los Ángeles (under the same ownership), but it has its own independent entrance and offers complete privacy. If desired, both houses can be rented together for larger groups.

To preserve the tranquility of the surroundings, the use of personal sound systems is not permitted. If brought, we will kindly store them during your stay.

Guest access During your stay, you will have full access to the house and its 3,000 m² garden, so you can enjoy complete comfort and privacy.

The property is located next to Casa Los Ángeles (under the same ownership), but it has its own independent entrance and fully private spaces; each garden is exclusive to its home.

If you wish, both properties can be rented together for larger groups.

Other things to note Is the house private?

Yes, you will enjoy complete privacy during your stay. Both the house and the gardens are exclusively for you and your group; Casa Limoncito is not shared with other guests.

The property is adjacent to other homes in our collection (Casa Los Ángeles and Casa Guayaba), each with its own independent entrance and full privacy. We kindly ask that you respect the boundaries between properties to help maintain the harmony of the space.

Within the property, about 5 minutes away, there is a shared private area for guests, including a small playground for children up to 10 years old.

An additional 3 minutes away, we offer a special space for meals or picnics, available upon prior reservation and at an extra cost. We will be happy to provide more information.

Number of Guests

We kindly ask that the number of guests in your reservation matches the actual number staying at the property. This allows us to provide the best service and ensure comfort and proper maintenance of the home.

If the number of guests exceeds the amount indicated in the reservation, an additional fee will apply for each extra guest. If the maximum occupancy of the property is exceeded, including children aged 2 and older, additional guests will not be permitted access, and we may suggest nearby accommodation options.

Visitors

Visitors are welcome from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

To ensure a comfortable and well-attended experience, additional staff may be required in some cases.

At Casa Limoncito, a maximum of 6 visitors is allowed. We kindly appreciate your support in respecting these guidelines.

If your group is larger, we will be happy to assist you with additional accommodation options within our villas or nearby hotels in Malinalco.

Staff

The rental does not include staff service.

If you would like additional support during your stay, we can gladly arrange extra staff. This service is paid directly and costs approximately $600 MXN per day (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM).

Important note: The Airbnb cleaning fee covers only the cleaning after check-out and does not include cleaning services during your stay.

Heated Pool

The pool is naturally heated through solar panels. During colder months, you may choose to use the gas boiler for additional comfort.

This service has an approximate cost of $1,200 MXN per use, reaching a temperature of around 32°C (90°F).

We kindly ask that you request this service at least 24 hours in advance, as the heating process takes time. Important: this cost reflects only the actual gas consumption, with no additional charges.

Payment can be made in advance or directly to the caretaker upon arrival.

Schedule & Grocery Service

We aim to be flexible with check-in and check-out times, depending on availability. Standard times are:

• Check-in: 3:00 PM • Check-out: 12:00 PM

You may also request grocery shopping assistance prior to arrival, for an additional fee (approximately $200 MXN in Malinalco and $400 MXN in Tenancingo).

Bedrooms

Casa Limoncito has 3 bedrooms, all with private bathrooms:

• “Limón” Bedroom – 1 king-size bed • “Mandarina” Bedroom – 1 king-size bed + 2 single beds • “Mango” Bedroom – 2 double beds + 1 sofa

Cancellation Policy

We kindly recommend reviewing our cancellation policies carefully before making any changes or cancellations, so you can make the best decision according to your plans. At Casa Limoncito, we follow the cancellation policies established on our Airbnb profile.

• Full refund if canceled 30 days or more before check-in.
• 50% refund if canceled between 7 and 30 days before check-in.
• No refund for cancellations made less than 7 days before check-in.

This policy also applies to date changes, as they are considered a cancellation and a new reservation.
