The Space

This spacious colonial home combines historic character with modern comforts. Located on a family-friendly street, it is within easy walking distance of restaurants, the scenic Lake Nicaragua waterfront, important cultural landmarks, museums, and the lively Calzada. The elevated setting offers a peaceful escape from street activity.

Yarelis, our dedicated house manager, is available to answer questions, assist with cleaning needs, and care for our adorable bunny.

The home includes:

• Two charming courtyards
• A large swimming pool
• A well-equipped kitchen with direct access to the pool, patio, and garden
• An inviting living room, or sala, suitable for reading, movie nights, and socializing
• A second courtyard with a mango tree and additional seating for games or relaxation
• Laundry facilities in the second courtyard
• Three bedrooms, each with a private full bathroom

Bedroom arrangements include:

• One queen bed
• One double bed with a single bunk above it
• One double bed

Fresh bed linens, bath towels, and beach towels are provided. The kitchen includes a coffee press, cooking pots and pans, spices, salt, pepper, sugar, and coffee for convenient meal preparation.

Both main bedrooms have air conditioning, and all bathrooms have hot water. An unheated outdoor shower is also available for a refreshing rinse.

Electricity and Deposits

Please help conserve electricity by turning off the air conditioning, lights, and fans when they are not in use.

A refundable deposit applies to cover electricity, gas, water, and any damages:

• $200 for stays of 7 days
• $300 for stays of 7–14 days

Any unused portion of the deposit will be refunded.

Safety and Accessibility

Granada is a very safe city, but as in any urban area, keep track of your valuables in public places. Please also keep the front metal doors closed when you are not in the front area of the house.

For additional security, the property has:

• An electric fence
• Security cameras

A few steps lead up to the house, as shown in the exterior photos. These may be difficult for guests with limited mobility.

Guest Access

The entire house is private and available exclusively for your family or group to enjoy.

Other Things to Note

Living in an open-air house means experiencing the natural sounds of Nicaragua. You may hear:

• Roosters
• Parakeets
• Barking dogs
• Insects
• Bats
• Salamanders
• Street vendors and mobile shops
• Firecrackers

These sounds are a normal part of daily life. We recommend storing foods containing sugar, such as cereal or bread, in the refrigerator or microwave. Light sleepers may wish to bring earplugs or use white noise.

We welcome families, couples, solo travelers, and smaller groups of mature friends rather than groups of young adults. We are happy to speak with any group to ensure the property is a good fit.

The minimum stay is two nights.
