The Space

Welcome to Entroterra, an elegant retreat located in Hacienda Pinilla. These newly built three-bedroom homes accommodate up to eight guests and feature 3.5 bathrooms. The master suite includes a king-size bed, while the two additional bedrooms each have two queen beds. Every bedroom has its own private bathroom.

The spacious living area opens seamlessly onto a terrace, creating a sophisticated indoor-outdoor living environment. Each residence boasts a private saltwater pool, adding a unique touch of privacy to your stay. The covered deck is ideal for grilling and relaxing, surrounded by the tranquil sounds of nature.

Start your day with coffee while observing macaws and listening to howler monkeys, or unwind in the evening with a refreshing drink, soaking in the natural beauty of Costa Rica. The property is designed to offer a comfortable and peaceful setting perfect for family vacations.

Smoking is strictly prohibited on the property, with penalties for violations. This is not a party house, and guests are expected to respect the quiet atmosphere.

Golf Course

Designed by Mike Young, the par-72 golf course stretches up to 7,200 yards and blends naturally with Hacienda Pinilla’s tropical landscape. The course winds through lush forests and along the Pacific coastline, offering breathtaking ocean views.

Tennis Courts

Hacienda Pinilla features three hard tennis courts with onsite instructors. They offer various clinics, lessons, and court rentals:

Clinics:

• Monday, 8:30–9:30 AM: Fit-Tennis (All Levels) – $15
• Tuesday, 5:00–6:30 PM: Advanced Clinic – $20
• Thursday, 4:00–5:30 PM: Intermediate Clinic – $20
• Saturday, 8:30–10:30 AM: Pickleball Clinic – $10

Lessons:

• $60/hour for one person
• $70/hour for two people
• $200 for a package of 4 lessons
• $450 for a package of 10 lessons

Court Rentals:

• $10–$15 per hour
• $25 per hour with lights
• $5 per racquet or paddle rental
• $5 per person for pickleball sessions

Horse Stables

Explore 16 kilometers of scenic trails that pass through dry forests and lead to the untouched sands of Playa Langosta. Guided horseback tours can be tailored from 30 minutes to 2 hours, taking riders through lush forests, secluded beaches, and peaceful river mouths within Hacienda Pinilla.

Mountain Bike Trails

The ranch offers 30 kilometers of advanced trails and 15 kilometers of beginner trails, ideal for biking, hiking, or exploring the expansive 4,500-acre property.

Surfing

Hacienda Pinilla is an excellent base for surfing in Costa Rica. It provides access to six breaks at Playa Avellanas and private entry to Playa Langosta’s beach breaks. For more variety, Playa Negra’s reef breaks are just 10 minutes south, while Tamarindo’s river mouth and beach breaks lie 10 minutes to the north.

Additional Information

Entroterra is located within the gated community of Hacienda Pinilla, specifically in the exclusive Entroterra neighborhood. A rental car is highly recommended, as local amenities and restaurants are not within walking distance.

Due to the size of Hacienda Pinilla, it is advisable to shop for groceries before arrival, especially after a long journey when you may prefer not to go out again.

If you plan to have visitors during your stay, please inform your host in advance so they can be added to the entry list at the main gate.

Important Policies

Entroterra is a private, gated community with full-time residents and families. There is a strict quiet hours policy from 11 PM to 6 AM. This home is best suited for respectful groups and families.

Parties, events, or excessive noise are not permitted. Guests who violate these rules will be asked to leave without a refund.
