Casa Bamboo is a tranquil luxury retreat nestled deep within the lush rainforest at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac. Located in one of Manuel Antonio’s most desirable gated communities, this estate is surrounded by towering bamboo groves, vibrant tropical flowers, and the soothing sounds of a nearby stream. The 4-bedroom, 5.5-bathroom home offers a perfect blend of upscale comfort and the natural beauty of Costa Rica.

The Space

Situated in a small gated community, Casa Bamboo is just a short walk from the bus stop, restaurants, shops, spas, a gym, and boutique stores. The property is ideally positioned in the heart of Manuel Antonio’s residential area.

The main house features over 3,500 square feet of living space. The ground floor offers an open-concept living, dining, and kitchen area with sliding glass doors that open onto the pool and deck. This level includes:

• Master bedroom with king-size bed and en-suite bathroom
• Second bedroom with two double beds and en-suite bathroom, also opening onto the pool area

An external staircase leads to the second floor, where you will find a spacious open-concept lanai. This level includes:

• Large balcony overlooking the pool, furnished with comfortable sofas, chairs, and a teak dining table seating 10
• TV room, full bathroom, and main kitchen featuring quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a breakfast bar with stools
• Two bedrooms on either side of the living area for added privacy, both with king-size beds; the master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom

Air conditioning is available in all bedrooms, while the social areas are designed with open-air living in mind.

The expansive downstairs terrace boasts:

• Large pool with a playful dolphin mosaic

• Jacuzzi (not heated)

Casa Bamboo embraces indoor-outdoor living, allowing guests to enjoy rainforest views from every room. The villa is surrounded by giant bamboo, bromeliads, mango trees, and abundant jungle wildlife, accompanied by the gentle babbling of a nearby brook.

Services

Guests benefit from complimentary concierge assistance, provided by Susan, who can arrange private airport transfers, chef services, massages, tours, restaurant reservations, rental cars, and more. This local expertise helps save time and money while enhancing your Costa Rica experience.

A professional housekeeper is on-site Monday through Saturday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, handling routine cleaning, laundry, and property maintenance. Pool and grounds upkeep occur throughout the week.

For security, one camera monitors the driveway and front entrance only.

Additional Guest House

House Rules

1. A signed and fully completed rental agreement with names, ages, and photo ID is required within 24 hours of booking. The primary renter must be at least 25 years old. No unregistered guests are allowed.
2. A $500 security deposit hold is required. A one-time $37 administrative fee applies to all bookings. Quiet hours are strictly enforced from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
3. Guests must lock all doors and windows when absent to protect the property and personal belongings.
4. Power outages can occur during Costa Rica’s rainy season due to weather conditions. Emergency flashlights are available, and the concierge can assist with any concerns. No refunds are issued for natural events.
5. Air conditioning is installed only in bedrooms. Bedroom doors should remain closed when the AC is running, and AC should not be left on when rooms are unoccupied.
6. Third-party travel insurance is required to cover cancellations outside the stated policy.
7. Pets, smoking, loud music, commercial photography, parties, and events are prohibited.

Important Notice About Local Wildlife and Insects

The property is set in a natural environment, so guests may encounter insects such as ants, mosquitoes, or spiders, as well as local wildlife including snakes, lizards, and other native animals. Precautions are taken to minimize these encounters, but interaction with the local flora and fauna is part of the experience.
