Important Notes
A new home is under construction on the adjacent property behind Casa Calma, expected to be completed by November 2025.
The home is open-air except for the bedrooms, which have air conditioning. Bedroom doors should remain closed when AC is running, and AC should not be left on when rooms are unoccupied.
Power outages can occur during heavy rainstorms; emergency flashlights are provided, and the concierge is available for assistance.
No refunds are issued for natural events or acts of God.
Third-party travel insurance is required to cover cancellations outside the rental policy.
No pets, smoking, loud music, commercial photography, parties, or events allowed.
House Rules
A signed rental agreement with names, ages, and photo ID must be submitted within 24 hours of booking. The primary guest must be at least 25 years old. No unregistered guests allowed.
A $500 security deposit hold is required. A one-time $37 administrative fee applies to all bookings.
Guests are responsible for locking all doors and windows when absent to protect the property and personal belongings.
Quiet hours are strictly enforced between 8:00 PM and 6:00 AM.
Wildlife and Insects
Casa Calma is located in a natural environment, so guests may encounter local insects such as ants, mosquitoes, and spiders, as well as wildlife like snakes and lizards. Precautions are taken to minimize interactions, but encounters with native flora and fauna are part of the experience.
