The Space

Welcome to Casa Scandi, your home away from home in Costa Rica. Whether you are traveling with friends or enjoying a relaxing family getaway, this spacious home offers a comfortable setting to connect, unwind, and experience the pura vida lifestyle.

From the moment you enter through the wide front doors, the home opens toward a beautiful view of the pool and patio. The indoor and outdoor areas flow together naturally, creating an inviting space for relaxing and entertaining. Comfortable outdoor couches beside the pool provide the same cozy feel as the seating in the high-ceilinged living room.

The home includes four bedrooms, an office and gym, an indoor kitchen, and an outdoor kitchen. Guests also have access to the beautiful beaches of Hacienda Pinilla.

Glass doors open directly onto the outdoor living area, which includes:

The home’s U-shaped design allows every bedroom to open toward the pool area, giving guests private spaces with convenient access to the shared outdoor areas.

Bedrooms

• Master Bedroom 1: King bed, private outdoor seating, and a large en-suite bathroom with indoor and outdoor showers and a soaking tub.
• Master Bedroom 2: King bed, stylish en-suite bathroom, indoor and outdoor showers, and a tub.
• Bedroom 3: Ideal for children, with two bunk beds featuring queen beds below and twin beds above. This room includes a large bathroom and a connecting door to Master Bedroom 2.
• Bedroom 4: King bed and private en-suite bathroom, designed with accessibility in mind.
• Office and Gym: Flexible space with a desk and a 50-inch television, suitable for work or recreation. Equipment includes:

  • Exercise bicycle
  • Weight bench
  • CAP adjustable barbells

Every room includes air conditioning, ceiling fans, and blackout curtains.

Hacienda Pinilla Beach Club

The hosts are active members of the Hacienda Pinilla Beach Club. Rental guests can enter for $5 per person. The club serves food and has a bar; entry is no longer consumable, which differs from previous years.

Casa Scandi is located within Hacienda Pinilla Reservas de Golf, a golf resort community in Guanacaste.

• 3 minutes by car from JW Marriott Guanacaste
• 84 kilometers (52 miles) from Liberia International Airport (LIR)

• A short drive or golf cart ride from Hacienda Pinilla’s beautiful, uncrowded beaches

Important Information

Hacienda Pinilla covers more than 4,200 acres. Guests are encouraged to purchase groceries before arrival, particularly after a long journey, to avoid needing to drive again immediately.

Fuego Blue and Il Rustico both deliver pizza. Their contact information is provided in the welcome booklet.

All guests require permission to enter Hacienda Pinilla. This permission must be sent to the front security gate, so please contact the host in advance to arrange access if needed.

Early check-in is complimentary when the property is ready. Please contact the host for an update.

For everyone’s safety, each guest is kindly asked to present the reservation holder’s QR code at check-in.
