The Home

Casa Cielo has four bedrooms and comfortably sleeps up to 10 guests.

• Main Bedroom 1: Enjoys breathtaking panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean and Carara National Park. The room has direct sliding-door access to the pool deck, an en-suite bathroom with double showerheads, and a spacious walk-in closet.
• Main Bedroom 2: A quiet and convenient room facing the home’s entrance, with its own private bathroom.
• Main Bedroom 3: Includes pool deck access and an additional twin bed. The room shares a beautifully appointed bathroom with the common areas.
• Bedroom 4 — Lower Level: Provides complete privacy in a peaceful, independent setting. Accessed via an exterior staircase beside the lanai, it includes one queen bed, one twin bed, and a private bathroom.

The fully equipped gourmet kitchen includes everything needed for meal preparation, as well as a modern automatic dishwasher. Spacious living and dining areas open to sweeping views of the infinity pool and ocean. The living room also features a large television for comfortable relaxation.

• Full solar power system: The entire home has been converted to solar energy, providing reliable electricity during Costa Rica’s frequent power outages. Air conditioning, lighting, internet, and other modern conveniences can continue operating without interruption.
• Bio Bidet 2000 seats in all bathrooms: These provide enhanced cleanliness, hygiene, and comfort. Because Costa Rica relies on septic systems, most rental homes request that toilet paper not be flushed. The bidet seats offer a convenient solution while improving the guest experience.
• New privacy wall: Adds extra seclusion to the pool deck.
• Covered outdoor dining area: Provides a comfortable setting for al fresco meals with ocean views in any weather.

This is a tranquil, upscale retreat. Loud music, parties, and gatherings exceeding the permitted guest count are not allowed out of respect for the neighbors and the peaceful jungle setting.

Guest Access and Transportation

A four-wheel-drive vehicle is highly recommended for navigating the mountain roads and enjoying greater flexibility. The community enforces a 10-mile-per-hour speed limit on the steep, winding roads for safety.

• Distance to Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO): approximately 68.5 kilometers, or 1 hour and 10 minutes
• Private airport transportation or shuttle service can be arranged
• Transportation pricing starts at $130 one way for up to four passengers
• Each additional guest costs $10
• Uber and Lyft are not available in this area, so advance transportation arrangements are essential

• The pool is not heated.
• Check-in is at 3:00 p.m.
• Check-out is at 11:00 a.m.
• Early check-in and late check-out are not available.
• The door code will be sent the day before arrival.
• The fourth bedroom and bathroom have a separate exterior entrance for privacy and include one queen bed and one twin bed.
