The primary bedroom features a queen-sized bed with comfortable linens, a closet, and an en-suite bathroom. The guest bedroom includes two twin beds that can be converted into a king bed upon request, along with linens, a closet, and easy access to the guest bathroom. Both bedrooms and the living room are equipped with fans and air conditioning.

Additional amenities include hot water, Starlink internet, and a Smart TV. Purified drinking water and housekeeping service (three days per week) are provided at no extra cost. Housekeeping staff also handle laundry, as they are the only ones with access to the washer and dryer. This service is included with your stay.

Guests staying in an eco casita have access to two shared swimming pools—one at the Phase 1 Eco Casita property and another at the beach club. The community offers six dining options within walking distance, including one located very close to this property.

Location and Activities

This casita is situated within the Hacienda Iguana development, renowned for its world-class surf breaks. Four surf spots are within walking distance: Playa Colorado, Panga Drops, Los Perros, and Playa Amarillo (reachable on foot at low tide, just south of Playa Colorado).

The community also boasts a beautiful 9-hole golf course that is well maintained, attractively designed, and affordable for guests.

Food Supplies and Dining

The best place to purchase groceries is La Colonia in Rivas, located 100 meters south of the turnoff for Tola on the right (west) side of the street. We recommend filling up on fuel there as well, as these are the closest gas stations to the property.

It is advisable to stock up on groceries for your entire stay. Alternatively, if you prefer not to handle meal planning, shopping, and preparation, ask us about our full-service catering meal plan.

Several excellent dining options are available within the Hacienda Iguana development:

• Pili's Kitchen at the Beach Club, located beachfront in front of the Colorado Break, offers fresh foods, juices, smoothies, and a full bar.
• The Salty Koala in La Joya near the Eco Casitas serves Asian cuisine and craft cocktails.
• Casa Ananas, above our office, features authentic Italian dishes, pizza, and international specials.
• Downtown Iguana, next to our office and surf shop, offers seafood and traditional Nicaraguan cuisine at reasonable prices.
• Scoops and Spokes, across the street, serves homemade ice cream, coffee, baked goods, paninis, and fresh juices.
• Iguana Brewery, a few doors down, provides sports bar fare and local craft beer.

Inside Hacienda Iguana, the NSR Surf Shop offers a variety of items including souvenirs, surf accessories, clothing, beach towels, flip flops, sunscreen, sunglasses, swimsuits, wetsuit vests and tops, rash guards, and more. The shop also rents scooters, dirt bikes, surfboards, boogie boards, and stand-up paddleboards.

Additional community amenities include:

The Riviera commercial plaza, located within half a mile of the Hacienda Iguana entrance, features:

Getting Around

The property is approximately a 2 to 2.5-hour drive from Augusto C. Sandino International Airport in Managua and about 4 hours from Liberia Airport in Costa Rica.

Most major car rental agencies operate at Managua airport; we recommend booking in advance. A four-wheel-drive vehicle is only necessary if you plan to visit beaches further south in the San Juan del Sur area.

If you prefer not to rent a car, we can arrange airport transfers and daily sightseeing or surf trips. Motorcycle and scooter rentals are also available, along with vehicle and boat transportation to other surf breaks nearby.
