Black Orchid Oasis DOES NOT DISAPPOINT. They epitomize approachable luxury- and indeed have created an oasis. The host here UNDER promises and absolutely OVER delivers. From start to finish our vacation felt like a 5 star all inclusive resort stay. Cons- they’re aren’t many at all so let me just get those out of the way. They actually have NOTHING to do with Black Orchid- this is more a piece of friendly advice. GET AS GOOD A GOLF CART AS YOU CAN FIND. Spend the extra money on that because I’m back home and need my massage therapist to make a home visit like soon! The location of this lux modern home is far from perfect everything but the beach- and considering you have to golf cart around you’re going to spend some significant time in the cart- get a nice one. Our stay was amazing. We were a group of four couples, and everyone had their own beautiful master bedroom with a view of the water. The pool and grounds were perfect, from the comfortable deck furniture to the games set up on the sand. The house itself was just as impressive, with Sonos speakers both inside and out and plenty of space for everyone to relax. The staff were incredibly helpful throughout our stay, offering great recommendations for things to do, and the property website made it easy for everyone in our group to know what to expect before we arrived. Getting around was also incredibly easy. We took a water taxi directly from Belize City to the dock at the house, and several of our excursions picked us up right from there as well. The meals prepared by the staff were wonderful, and having fresh coffee ready every morning was a very appreciated touch. We all had an incredible time and would absolutely recommend this property for a group trip to Belize.

We came to San Pedro to surprise a friend, and Delma and Everaldo (chefs) did an amazing job helping make the surprise even more special! The property is absolutely beautiful and looked even better in person than in the photos. Delma and Everaldo were wonderful and treated us like family throughout our stay. The beach was gorgeous with no seaweed at all, unlike the downtown area of San Pedro. We also loved having free access to the kayaks and paddleboards. One thing to keep in mind is that the property is at Secret Beach, about a 45-minute golf cart ride from downtown San Pedro. If you plan to spend most of your time in town, this may not be the best location. However, if you want a peaceful, beautiful, and relaxing environment, this is the perfect place. Most nearby restaurants and shops close around 6 PM. Boats can also pick you up directly from the pier, which is great for planned tours and cruises. Overall, we had an amazing stay and would definitely recommend this property!

Four nights at Black Orchid Oasis and it was pure magic! The house was private, quiet, immaculate, and stunning, it was exactly the escape we needed 💕 But Delma and Elverado made this trip truly unforgettable. We let Delma plan every meal and it was the best decision we made! Her lobster dinner (after lobster hunting with Geronimo!) was over of the best meals of our lives. Elverado’s special cocktails were delicious. Their knowledge and love of Belize was felt through shared stories. They are incredible people. Delma arranged a full private day sailing with Captain Carlos, snorkeling, swimming with nurse sharks and sea turtles, and manta ray! Memories we we’ll never forget. If you book this property, let Delma and Elverado plan your excursions and meals. Everyone we met felt like family in just a few days. We’re already counting down to our return trip in April! I was lucky enough to spend my 40th birthday at Black Orchid Oasis in Secret Beach, Ambergris Caye, with a group of 9 - and it was one of the best trips of my life. We arrived by private water taxi directly to the villa’s dock, which set the tone immediately and made excursions incredibly easy, and honestly - arriving to your vacation by boat just hits different. The home is beautifully designed, showcasing local workmanship without losing sense of place. En-suite bathrooms and king beds in 3 suites make it perfect for families or friend groups. Multiple guests noted how quiet the rooms were. As incredible as the property is, what made it unforgettable were our hosts, Delma and Everaldo. They greeted us with rum punch and the best shrimp ceviche we’ve ever had, and kept us fed with Delma’s breakfast beans, fresh smoothies and hibiscus margaritas. They truly brought the heart into our experience in Belize. We left a piece of our hearts in Ambergris Caye, and we can’t wait to return!

We stayed at Black Orchid Secret Beach and had the absolute best time. The space was beautiful, clean, and perfect for our family. Delma and Everaldo were incredible and took care of our every need. Delma made the most amazing fresh meals, and Everaldo made even better cocktails! They also helped us arrange day trips for spearfishing and snorkeling, which made everything so easy. Our boys absolutely loved them. They did a fantastic job keeping the space clean throughout our stay. The Wi-Fi was spotty at times, but that is to be expected in such a remote location—and we came to vacation, not to work. This was truly one of the best vacations of my life because of Delma, Everaldo, and the stunning property. We absolutely recommend Black Orchid Secret Beach!

We stayed here as a group of 12, and the highlight was undoubtedly Delma and Everaldo. They kept the villa spotless, handled every request with a smile, and made our stay exceptional. Hiring Delma as our chef was one of the best decisions we made—every meal was delicious, beautifully prepared, and thoughtfully accommodated our dietary needs. The villa is gorgeous and skilfully designed!! Having a private beach you can snorkel right off of was a huge benefit. However, there’s no shade by the pool or beach and there are lots of sand flies and mosquitoes so come prepared (even dousing ourselves with insect repellent didn’t deter them). It is a 45-minute golf cart ride from San Pedro but avoiding the smelly sargassum common on the east cost was worth the trade off. The peaceful, private and quieter experience was ideal for our group. Would we return? Absolutely—primarily because of Delma and Everaldo. They made an already beautiful villa a truly memorable experience.

We were fortunate enough to book The Black Orchid Oasis for a very impromptu getaway, and it was an absolute dream! The home is gorgeous, to start with ~ every single room has a full, beautiful private bathroom and wide open view. The location in Ambergris Caye is perfect: private, accessible by boat or golf cart, beautiful beach and dock, kayaks, and no sargassum. We hung out on the beach where our private chef and bartender catered to us exactly to the degree we wanted: great cocktails, appetizers, delicious FREE breakfasts, wonderful dinners prepared by the chef and her husband, extremely nice and competent people a stone's throw away on the property. We had everything we needed, including a tour guide we requested for a day of snorkeling and fishing. Other amenities are nearby, like a fun brunch spot and further down, a day club I'm guessing for people on the other side with sargassum on their beaches. Fabulous spot. So incredibly clean and beautiful, well-cared for!
