Escape to Pequeña Ítaca, a tropical beachfront villa located just 20 minutes from the airport and 50 minutes from San Salvador.
The villa includes:

The Space
The house sits directly in front of the ocean on a beach that is almost always empty. It is a simple, peaceful, and authentic place designed for resting, recharging, and reconnecting with nature.
This family home was built nearly 30 years ago, and we continue to return regularly. The space is intentionally minimalist, without unnecessary luxury, while still providing everything needed for a pleasant stay.
The semi-open kitchen is almost entirely outdoors, making it a lively and social part of the house. All bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning.
Guest Access
Reaching the house is easy. Follow the beach road until you arrive at number 92, where you will find a small white gate marked “Pequeña Itacá.” Honk, and someone will open the gate for you.
Once inside, you will have access to the entire property, with the beach just steps away.
Optional Kitchen Assistance
Kitchen assistance may be available from Francisca, the caretaker’s wife. She knows the property well and can help prepare meals if desired.
This service is entirely optional and should be arranged directly with her. She will explain how it works and the customary tip amount.

I had a great weekend with my family. The place is as described, very cozy. No luxuries, but with everything you need for a quiet stay. Ms. Dina is an excellent person, very cordial and friendly. Charming of the place

This home is perfect for beachfront seclusion and peace. Well equipped, very well looked after, and close to the airport (easy 25min drive). I would highly recommend Olivier’s home to anyone seeking peace in El Salvador.

Peaceful beachfront stay with amazing hospitality We had a wonderful stay at Rancho Pequeña Ítaca. The location is perfect for relaxing and disconnecting—right by the ocean and surrounded by lush nature. Waking up to the sound of birds and waves was incredibly peaceful, and the ocean breeze made it easy to slow down and enjoy the day. Francisca and Ernesto, the caretakers. They are incredibly kind and welcoming. Francisca’s cooking was delicious (highly recommend!), and Ernesto went above and beyond—he even brought us a barrel of fresh coconuts after we mentioned we were looking for some. Dina and Olivier were great hosts as well very communicative and helpful with local tips. The only small note is that you may occasionally hear planes due to the nearby airport, but it wasn’t an issue for us. I definitely recommend it!
