This place was amazing! The view is absolutely incredible. Sunrises are spectacular from the property. The pool is stellar and we enjoyed it daily. We had the monkeys visit several times and provided a ton of entertainment with some hilarious antics. There were insects around but it is the jungle and they were all harmless and weren’t interested in us. Thomas arranged to have Vicenta be our chef for our stay and she was absolutely amazing, the food was simple but EXCELLENT and healthy. There was a language barrier but we all got our ideas and thoughts across and shared a lot of laughs. The main area is better with the doors open and the big fan on for the breeze and it’s perfect for just lounging on the sofa. AC was in all the bedrooms and we were actually cold so we had to turn up the temp a few degrees. The house is so unique and open, there was always something new to discover. Montezuma is a short ATV drive away so we could get snacks or whatever. We would absolutely stay again!

The Lunatica Lounge is an incredible place to relax in Montezuma. My family of 8 had an incredible time. The house (actually 2 structures) is large and architecturally very unique. Plenty of space for everyone to hang out, eat, play games, etc. Also, plenty of individual space in the 4 bedroom areas. Each with their own flare and individuality. The pool is gorgeous and connects the 2 structures. The views are incredible of the Pacific Ocean and the jungle between the home and the beach. Dailey made service is outstanding and really limits the amount of clothing that you need to pack as laundry is done daily if needed we hired Vincenta, as a private cook, who made us breakfast and lunch daily. We highly recommend her as her meals were amazing, and her warmth was contagious. The staff even repaired a flat tire that we got on our way into the house. I highly recommend renting jeeps or some sort of off-road vehicles as the roads into the home are rocky and treacherous. Overall, A++

We had a truly magical time at Lunatica. The house and surroundings are amazing. Gorgeous views from every room, best swimming pool ever. Thomas, the house manager, was exceptionally responsive and helpful. He and the other staff members took care of our every need. I highly recommend a stay here!!!

Our 8-day getaway at LunaticaLounge was an absolute blast! With our family of adults, teenagers and children the villa provided the perfect setting for our Costa Rica vacation. The beauty of this property more than match the photos. Thomas, the co-host, was on the ball making sure every detail was taken care of. By recommendation we went on an unforgettable private boat tour to Tortuga island with Eduardo as our marine guide including reef snorkling and whale safari. I highly recommend to do this. It was a fantastic day. We also rent ATV’s which was fun and a great way to explore the jungle and beaches in the area. The villa’s infinity pool with it breathtaking views made it hard to leave the house. Every room provides a unique perspective of the incredible surroundings. Thomas was a true star ensuring our experience was top notch responding promptly to any queries. Our family had a vacation for the books. We are already daydreaming about our return to this enchanting paradise.

We booked 4 nights for a family stay. 6 adults and 2 babies and we all had plenty of space. The grounds are as beautiful as the photos. Really appreciated the cleaning service daily and how responsive Ralf/Thomas were. They helped us arrange a local photographer to come out and capture special family moments as well as a private chef for my sister in laws 30th birthday. There is no A/C in the main living area so it does get warm. If it had A/C the place would’ve been absolutely perfect. Regardless we made so many special family memories and it’s one of the most unique Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in.

Our family of four really enjoyed Lunatica Lounge. The property was as shown in the photos. It was a bit too spacious and spread out for a family of four, but would be perfect for a large party or multi family. The pool was incredible, the view amazing, and the house staff were friendly. Of the places we stayed during our time on the Nicoya, this one did seem to attract the most critters. Upon arrival (at night) it was the most, likely due to all doors being wide open. By shutting the doors and turning off the bright lights we minimized this quite a bit in the days that followed. Thomas, the host was incredibly friendly and helpful. Giving us driving directions, assisting with ATV rental and even picking food up and delivering it the night we arrived. Thank you for the memories! If we travel with a larger group in the future, we will be back!

This villa was everything and a definite stay if you were to visit Costa Rica. Thomas the host manager was amazing. Carla was definitely my go to person. They made our stay exceptionally amazing. This villa is close to town and all excursions. We loved everything about this stay. Definitely would rent again when visiting Costa Rica.
