The house was okay overall. Sahira and Fred are very good hosts and communicate proactively. The house was clean and in a good location surrounded by a nice forest with birds, monkeys, etc. However, we had a bad experience with the check-in time as they were not flexible at all. We had a situation where we could only arrived at 11:00pm and even though they lived below the Airbnb house they couldn’t helped us with any options. So be careful with your check in time. Additionally, this was not their fault but the power (and water) was off and on like 10 times in 5 day, sometime for a long period (5-6 hours) and whenever power was off, water was off as well. So we had a bad time with AC, shower, washing, etc. Other than these 2 things the house and hosts are good. I think price vs house was high and that’s something to consider.

Fred and Sahira are the perfects hosts. They are very kind and always reachable if you need anything. The apartment is spacious, clean, well equipped and has a nice balcony/veranda, from where you can watch birds, monkeys and other animals. The beach, a supermarket and several restaurants can be reached by a short walk. If we would come back to Santa Teresa, we would definitely book this apartment again.

We had a wonderful stay!!! My husband and I stayed there with my parents and we all loved the beautiful view and peaceful surroundings 💗 We saw monkeys and lots of tropical birds from the balcony! We even stayed a whole afternoon just relaxing in the Airbnb 😊 Plus the Hosts are totally wonderful and made the space very comfy! Would absolutely recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at the airbnb. It's nice, quiet and in the jungle lush in the greenery. It's walkable to the main street and close to the beach. Sahira and Fred were lovely and kind hosts and had good recommendations for some restaurants for us.

Sahira et Fred sont des hôtes charmants. La maison est bien située très à l’écart du bruit des quads et des motos qui soulèvent la poussière. Il y a une bonne pente à gravir mais la tranquillité n’a pas de prix. Le logement est fonctionnel et assez bien équipé pour cuisiner. La climatisation dans les chambres est efficace. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le balcon pour prendre le petit déjeuner et le soir pour l’apéro et le souper. La mer est à moins de 500 m à pied et une bonne épicerie au coin de la rue. Pura vida!

Great location walking distance to beaches but tucked away off the main streets. Hosts were very helpful and accommodating - would highly recommend!

The location was close to the beach and main street, private, quiet and a beautiful view of the jungle. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. If you want to be a beach bunny and just relax, it's a great location.
