Casa Vida Azul is an elegant three-bedroom villa in the gated Los Delfines community in Tambor, Costa Rica. The property combines privacy, comfort, and lush tropical surroundings, with a private saltwater pool and a peaceful 8-kilometre beach just a short walk away.

Guests can enjoy access to golf, artisan markets, weekly activities, an on-site grocery store, and beachfront dining.

The Space

Set within the quiet, gated Los Delfines community, the villa offers 24-hour security and abundant opportunities to observe local wildlife. From the property, you may enjoy spectacular sunrises and sunsets, as well as sightings of scarlet macaws flying overhead. These macaws are part of an on-site sanctuary breeding program.

Depending on your luck, you may also see howler monkeys, sea turtles, whales, and dolphins. Information about the community’s sea turtle rescue and release program is available upon request.

The community hosts weekly activities and provides a range of on-site amenities, including:

This spacious, modern bungalow is less than a two-minute walk from a secluded, 8-kilometre beach. The home has been designed as a comfortable and serene retreat, with three bedrooms accommodating up to seven guests, two full bathrooms, a private pool, five air-conditioning units with temperature controls, a well-equipped kitchen, and a lush backyard.

Pet Policy

Small, well-behaved dogs with responsible owners are welcome.

• A fee of $25 per pet will be added to the reservation.
• Dogs must be kept on a leash when outside or within the community.
• Guests must clean up after their pets every time.
• Guests must disclose their pets in advance and agree to these requirements.
• Additional cleaning fees may apply.

Guest Access and House Rules

• A lockbox code will be provided for easy entry.
• Guests have access to the entire house, except for one locked closet in the middle bedroom with the bunk beds.
• The maximum occupancy is seven guests.
• An inflatable mattress is available if needed.
• Children must be fully supervised in the backyard because the pool is not fenced.
• Community quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. daily.
• Smoking is not permitted inside or outside the property.
• Parties and events are not permitted.
• A 13% IVA or VAT tax will be added to the rental price.
• Guests are asked to turn off all appliances and air-conditioning units when they are not in the villa. The air-conditioning units cool the rooms quickly.

Location and Transportation

Los Delfines is less than a 20-minute taxi ride from Cobano Airport. The airport can be reached with a quick 25-minute flight from either San José or Liberia.

A reliable shuttle service is also available and can transport guests to Los Delfines from either airport. Travel time from Liberia Airport is approximately three hours. The shuttle service includes Wi-Fi and a cooler with cold drinks for the journey.

Guest Support

After booking, guests will receive a villa rental guide with additional information about the community and surrounding area.

On the day of arrival, the lockbox code will be provided so guests can access the villa immediately.

The local property manager, Suzanne (“Suz”), speaks English and a little Spanish. Her contact information will be provided shortly after booking confirmation. Suz and the hosts will be available throughout the stay to answer questions and provide assistance.
