Beautiful cabin in the woods of Ojochal

Great hosts- family ran organization and they all are super friendly and helpful. The house is very cabin like. It is well equipped and the setup they put together made for a very efficient use of space. There are beaches everywhere, within a 5 minute drive if you want to hit the nearest spots. Quick access to the main road. Monkeys can be seen from the large back patio or windows almost everyday (both howler and white faced are frequently around)- along with toucans, and other rare bird species. Morpho butterflies..🦋 Highly recommended space :)

We loved our stay at Yorleni’s and Kenia’s cabin. It was clean and free of clutter. The kitchen was equipped with pots/pans and appliances. It had a stunning forest view and beautiful deck. You could hear the howler monkeys in the mornings. Easy to get to restaurants and waterfalls. It’s pet friendly. The hosts were very responsive and flexible. We highly recommend booking with Yorleni and Kenia.

Es un sitio espectacular donde se puede descansar y disfrutar de la naturaleza sin que nadie lo moleste, Ojochal está lleno de ríos y bosque. Hay poca cobertura de internet por lo que tanto el Waze como la dirección que envía el anfitrión no son exactas. En la calle principal hay dos reductores de velocidad, en medio de ambos hay una calle de piedra, a unos 200m está la entrada a mano derecha.

The cabin is really nice to relax and good location to drive from to nearby beaches and waterfalls. I felt the cabin is also larger than it looks on the pics! Especially the kitchen area. The second bedroom is probably more suited for children than adults, it has no space to put your bags and clothes. Only the main room has some space for this. Also, second bedroom is only separated from living room by a double set of courtains, they're thick and dark, but there are no doors or walls. We visited as a couple, so no problem for us :), but something to keep in mind if 3 or 4 friends want to visit. Our favorite area of the house was the terrace overlooking the woods, great to just hang out and also has a nice table to have breakfast,lunch, etc

it's an amazing place perfect to disconnect from the city and enjoy the nature, fully recommend!

Couldn't have asked for a better stay. Yorleni and her family were very kind and available for answering questions or helping with needs. The house is on a small plot of land with a couple other airbnbs they have. Each spot has its own area but is close enough to run into other guests from here and there. The facilities in the house are all working great and we had no issues. Washer and dryer were great to have. We cooked daily and had everything we needed. The fans in the apartment kept everything very cool and comfortable and the house was clean with everything needed. The surrounding area was walkable but different than what we had expected. There are two stores for groceries that are a 10-20 minute walk (it is cheaper shop in Uvita). If you are looking to go to the beaches you will need transportation (check out ATV Rentals - we got a dirt bike and the owners were great). Highly recommend Tagua Cafe and the host gave many other great recommendations. Definitely book here!

The house is modern. There is everything you need. Kitchen is well equipped and it has beautiful balcony with a view to forest. Everything was clean and worked perfectly.

Wonderful New Cabin in the jungle Yorleni and her family are wonderful hosts, The location is perfect. no 4 wheel drive needed, you are in the jungle but close to the amenities of Ojochal. The cabin does not have Air-conditioning , but with all the fans you do not need it. I literally got cold at night. Great kitchen, fully stocked, wifi works great, wonderful covered patio to view the monkeys, scarlet macaws, several species of amazon parrots and morpho butterflies. As i mentioned the cabin is brand new and really well built, light and bright with a lot of windows and cross breezes. I will definitely be back and will tell all my colleagues and friends to stay here. Pura Vida!
