The hosts and Claire were super responsive and quick to respond to everything.

The place is superb, as in the pictures, and above all, the house is equipped in a way I have rarely seen. Extra sheets, towels, and soap. More than a fully equipped kitchen. There's nothing missing.

A little paradise; I'd go back tomorrow!

This was our first trip to Costa Rica, and I have to say we cannot be happier to have chosen this beautiful home to stay a few days in Playa Grande. We traveled with two kids, ages 8 and 6, and they absolutely loved it. There were so many things to do, from board games to the nice pool and all the beach amenities that the home provided. Claudine and Claire were very responsive and welcoming. The home is located in a great little community, but very private. The wildlife, beaches, and surroundings made this a perfect place to vacation. Lots of great options to eat and also very close to supermarkets and fruit stands to buy your own things and cook at home in this well-equipped kitchen. You really have it all in this amazing home, and we would choose to go there again in a heartbeat if we go to Costa Rica again.

Book without hesitation: the accommodation was clean, very, very well equipped, and well designed. Each room has its own privacy and bathroom, and everything faces the charming courtyard. Good communication from the owners!

The house is simply beautiful. Just as shown in the photos. It is in a safe and quiet place. It is a comfortable house with plenty of space. The terrace area is very nice, and the pool is just what you need. The kitchen is super well equipped. It really doesn't need anything. You have everything you need. They provide pool towels, and they have a cooler that we can use. It has games and things for kids, which I thought was great. It's pet friendly, and for us, that's a huge plus. It is close to beautiful beaches like Playa Minas and Playa Conchal, among others. The closest one is Playa Grande, but it doesn't allow pets, so unfortunately we couldn't visit it, but there are pet-friendly options nearby. They have restaurants, supermarkets, and medical centers nearby. We had a great time and would definitely come back.

We had an absolutely memorable stay with friends! The house was spotlessly clean and perfectly equipped for our needs. The location is ideal, just a few minutes' walk from several excellent restaurants.

As soon as we arrived, we were touched by Christian and Claudine's thoughtful touches: fresh fruit, coffee, and even a bottle of sparkling wine were waiting for us. Claudine and Christian are amazing hosts, very helpful, and always ready to answer our questions. I would highly recommend this place in Playa Grande! Once again, thank you for everything!

The house is beautiful, the photos don’t do it justice. It exceeded our expectations. It is in a private setting where you can relax, unwind, and the best part is that you can hear the monkeys in the morning and evenings. Christian & Claude were very responsive to any questions we had and provided us with recommendations of places to eat and things to do in the area. The check-in and check-out process was very easy as well. It was a wonderful trip and we will definitely stay there again during our next trip!

Very nice villa with all the amenities for cooking and more... Beach 5 minutes away by car, exceptional and very safe.

Great home and hosts!

If we ever go back to the Playa Grande area we will absolutely be staying here again. They went above and beyond getting the place ready for us and communicating. There was even a small book inside for recommendations for nearly everything around their place. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone considering it!

Beautiful spot! Everything was so nicely decorated and setup. Comfortable furniture and well stocked with supplies and essentials when we arrived. 5-6pm sunsets on the beach were a highlight especially for my toddler !

We had 9 monkeys visit us in the trees near the pool which was amazing. Short drive to the beach / restaurants but I wouldn’t suggest walking.

Only downside was there was quite a bit of wind which made the pool dirty often but didn’t stop us from using it.

Would recommend! A hidden gem.

Loved our stay. The accommodation is clean, well equipped, located a 15-minute walk from the beach in a very quiet environment. Hosts are responsive and welcoming. The courtyard is so beautiful and offers an enchanting tropical decor that allowed us to fully enjoy the beautiful weather of Costa Rica. A favorite!

We had a lovely stay in Playa Grande, the house is large, clean and we enjoyed the pool and the proximity to the beach.

Amazing. So comfortable, so homey, and very nice. Claudine and Chris are amazing. They saved our bacon when we became “homeless” suddenly when we had an issue with another rental. They responded so quickly and were so compassionate and helpful. Would recommend to anyone. Also, playa grande is an amazing location we would have never found if not for this super cool house.

This villa was exactly as described, and the photos were accurate, which we really appreciated. Christian and Claudine were very responsive and accommodating, even during Christmas week, which says a lot.

The house manager, Claire, truly stood out—she was amazing, incredibly helpful, and responded immediately whenever we had a question or needed assistance. She made our stay seamless and stress-free.

The location was great, centrally situated between Tamarindo and Playa Flamingo, making it easy to explore both areas. A quick travel tip for future guests: flying into Liberia is definitely the better option unless you’re prepared for a 4–5 hour drive from San José after your flight.

The pool is a bit smaller than it appears in the photos, but it was refreshing and perfect for cooling off after a day of exploring.

Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend this villa to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-managed place in Costa Rica.

Staying at Christian and Claudine’s home was a great experience! While planning the trip I exchanged several texts with them for recommendations on activities, restaurants and car rental. They were always quick to respond and very helpful. The airline canceled our original flight which changed our arrival time. They were kind to give us an early check-in and the fruit basket and food in the refrigerator were much appreciated when we got in hungry and exhausted from our red eye flight. Their home is well decorated and very comfortable. The air conditioning kept the house cool and we got a lot of use of the pool. Expect Venga (neighborhood cat) to pay you a lot of visits on the back patio. Playa Grande was just our speed. Less than a mile to the beach with several small restaurants along the way. Not near as touristy as Tamarindo. We spent most nights on the beach watching the sunset with the locals. In our travels we have never met people nicer than Costa Ricans. They made it special!

Beautiful villa with very communicative hosts! The place is very well divided so that each couple has their privacy. The yard is beautiful, a big plus when the monkeys visit you while swimming! Within walking distance of good restaurants and a remarkable beach. It was our favorite of the beaches we visited in the area. Surely a victim of its popularity and high traffic, we believe, however, that the place deserves more attention in terms of general maintenance: frequent septic odor in the yard and house, slightly worn BBQ, poor plumbing and lack of pressure for some taps, etc.

In short, nothing that really affects our comfort or the enjoyment of this trip but for this level of accommodation, I think paying attention to these little details remains relevant.

We loved our stay with Christian and Claudine, the hosts really care about their guests, plus Claire and Miguel are really attentive to our needs and are two helpful and dedicated people.

The premises are very well divided so that each couple has their privacy while sharing the common kitchen which is very well-equipped. Our stay was all the more beautiful thanks to the beautiful outdoor courtyard, full of vegetation and even a dozen monkeys who came to visit us in the trees of the outdoor courtyard.

I would definitely recommend it for your next stay in Costa Rica…….Pura Vida!

Claudine & Christian have a beautiful home set in a very tranquil neighbourhood. The home and pool are surrounded by trees and plants which during our stay were frequently visited by butterflies, hummingbirds, monkeys, birds and coatis. Since this was our first time in Costa rica the simple fact my family and I were able to see all these animals whilst relaxing by the pool made our experience extra special despite the exceptionally heavy rainfall that greeted us during our stay in November. Our hosts were very proactive in their answers to all our questions which we greatly appreciated. The place was also within close proximity to the beach and many great restaurants which made our stay even more enjoyable.

we loved getting to stay here!!! the place itself was gorgeous, so much greenery all around and it was semi private off the road. the hosts were extremely responsive (we had tons of questions)! they gave recommendations and helped us find things around the house! they also provided milk eggs juice and there was coffee and tea in the pantry! we love when hosts go above and beyond and we would 100% stay here again. HIGHLY recommend this place!!!

We loved staying at villa corazon. The hosts were very friendly and responded to all our questions. It was our first time in Costa Rica and Claudine made sure all our questions were answered and provided additional information that made our stay in Costa Rica more enjoyable and easier to navigate. The home was tranquil and private. Our kids enjoyed the pool!!!

Gorgeous oasis. Wonderful to place to relax and unplug. Enjoyed pool and adored butterfly bushes. Very communicative and gracious hosts. My twins loved the AC while I adored the surrounding beaches and husband scuba dived. A needed escape.

This home was a really good place to call home for the week. Clean, lots of local tips, and on call stay for immediate assistance. We enjoyed waking up to the alarm monkeys each day and a dip in the pool in the afternoons! Would recommend if you are visiting Playa Grande.

Each element of the living spaces has been thoughtfully curated to ensure comfort, blending modern amenities with a touch of homely charm that makes every corner inviting. Outside, the scenery is breathtaking, providing a serene backdrop that complements the warmth of the interior.

This home suited our three generations family, close to surf schools and beach, and extremely comfortable and well thought out surroundings and gardens. Excellent communications. We want to return!!

Our stay at Villa Corazon was wonderful! We were traveling with two adult children and their partners so having three separate bedrooms with ensuites was ideal. They each had separately controlled a/c and modern bathrooms. The kitchen functioned very well allowing many chefs to work at the same time.

The communication from Christian & Claudine was very helpful throughout our trip. Someone met us to make sure we arrived ok, who was also available for any questions during our stay.

There were several excellent restaurants within walking distance and the beach was close either by short drive by car or a 10 minute walk.

Overall our trip was excellent and I strongly recommend this Airbnb to anyone traveling to the area.
