JW Marriott Hotel

Horse Stables

Explore Hacienda Pinilla’s 4,500-acre ranch on a guided horseback tour. Tours can be arranged at any time and customized for your group, with rides lasting from 30 minutes to two hours.

Routes pass through the forest, along secluded beaches, and beside river mouths throughout the ranch.

Mountain Bike Trails

Hacienda Pinilla offers trails for both amateur and experienced riders:

• Professional trails: 30 kilometers throughout the ranch
• Amateur trails: 15 kilometers

The trails are also suitable for hiking and exploring the ranch’s 4,500 acres.

Surfing

Hacienda Pinilla is an excellent base for a surfing trip in Costa Rica. Playa Avellanas offers six waves, while private access to the beach breaks at Playa Langosta means you can enjoy a variety of surf spots without leaving the ranch.

For further exploration, the famous reef breaks at Playa Negra are approximately 10 minutes south, while the river-mouth and beach breaks of Tamarindo are approximately 10 minutes north.

Guest Access

A golf cart is an ideal way to explore Hacienda Pinilla’s 4,500-acre ranch. It provides convenient access to the beach club, JW Marriott hotel, and other amenities while offering opportunities to see local wildlife and monkeys along the way.

Casa Prana Services

Daily housekeeping helps keep your stay comfortable and stress-free. Housekeeping is provided daily according to a schedule that best suits your group’s needs, allowing you to enjoy your vacation without worrying about cleaning or household tasks.

Additional housekeeping or breakfast-preparation hours can be arranged in advance.

The Beach Club membership provides access to amenities for a full day at the beach, including chairs, umbrellas, and a gym. A $5 daily entry fee applies.

Occupancy and Rates

Rates are based on up to 10 guests. An additional fee applies for each guest after the 10th person, up to the property’s maximum occupancy.

Please include the total number of guests in your booking to receive an accurate quote.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

• Cancellations made 60 days or more before check-in receive a 100% refund, less non-refundable payment-processing fees of approximately 3.9%.
• Cancellations made within 60 days of check-in are non-refundable.

Important House Rules

Casa Prana is located in a private, gated community with primarily full-time residents and families. To help ensure that all guests and neighbors enjoy the community, there is a strict no-noise policy outdoors between 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.

This property is not suitable for parties or events. It is best suited to groups of adults and families who respect the neighbors and community rules.

Large parties, events, or excessive noise are not permitted. Guests who violate these rules may be asked to leave without a refund.
