We had a great stay. The studio is a very short walk from the beach, so the location was perfect. Everything was very clean, neat and exactly as shown in the pictures.

The kitchen is equipped with the necessities, which made the experience even more convenient. The place is cozy and well maintained, an excellent choice for spending days relaxing near the beach.

Miki, the host, was always very attentive to any questions and was very kind, which made us feel very welcome.

We would definitely stay here again and recommend it if you are looking for a pleasant stay.

After traveling around Nicaragua, arriving at Miki's felt like coming home. The casita is cozy, beautiful, and peaceful, surrounded by nature. Miki is a wonderful host who made sure we had everything we needed and was always happy to help. The location is perfect, just a 2-minute walk from the main Colorado surf break! We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily come back.

We spent 3 nights at Miki's. From the moment we booked, Miki was extremely helpful and gave us all the information we needed for check-in. She also arranged our transfer from Managua Airport.

The apartment was as described in the listing, very clean and very functional. It is also conveniently located in the Hacienda Iguana complex, just 30 seconds from the beautiful Playa Colorado spot. Everything was perfect!! We had a lovely stay!!! Thank you for everything, Miki! We would definitely recommend your place!! See you soon, I hope!!!

The studio looks like in the pictures and the cleaning was neat.

We liked it a lot because it’s only 2 minutes walk from the beach, you have access to a pool and Mikki was very helpful and friendly. On top of that you can feel that the place was well set up and nicely decorated for guests.

Iguana is a beautiful beach, I absolutely recommend this place!

The guest house was everything we wanted! Miki was a truly amazing host—so helpful with rides, motorcycles, and recommendations; she was on top of everything. This place was great and a perfect spot to relax. We would happily come back again!

This spot is ideal, two minute walk to Colorados and pangas right up the way! Surf shop super close with great board selection. Miki helped me arranged transport from Managua and to my next spot. Felt safe here as a solo female traveler! 10/10 recommend.

I was traveling with my daughter and we stayed for three nights. It is a beautiful home. The landscaping was incredible. The host was amazing and I will definitely come back and stay again.

Absolutely loved the location super close to the beach and panga drop surf spot. Not only was the studio a great place to spend the week. But Miki was probably the most helpful and proactive host I've ever experienced. Helped us source food, plan our next steps in Nicaragua, and explain all the top spots. Thank you Miki! Our stay at Miki’s was incredible. Not only is her Casita in a great location but it has everything you could need. Miki and her family went above and beyond to make our experience in Nicaragua wonderful. She was super attentive and gave us so many great recommendations for things to do / places to eat / transportation. She even gave me clothes and flip flops when my luggage was delayed getting to Nicaragua. We can’t wait to come back and stay with Miki! Could not recommend this place enough!

Perfect spot with absolutely everything you will need. Being at Miki’s makes Colorados a 2 min walk away… unless you walk a normal speed. Then its more like 90 seconds. Great host! Great communication and recommendations. Just awesome. Thanks!

Casita Koyu was the perfect place to recharge. I stayed more than a week and Miki and her family are incredibly kind and welcoming. I felt at home right away.

The bed and pillows are comfortable, the linens are nice quality and the place had everything I needed to feel comfortable. There were planned power outages and a few unplanned ones, but Miki has it down to a science and provides battery backups. The unit has high ceilings and lots of air flow and light. I didn’t need AC. The location can’t be beat, it’s literally a 2 minute walk from the beach; 5 minute walk to a great restaurant and a 15 minute walk to town. I’m already planning my return!

Miki is an incredible host. Very attentive to our needs, keeps the Casita spotless and clean for us, gave us some incredible tips and referrals to great people and places including the most amazing massage person and great shopping. Her entire family was kind, friendly and helpful. Miki and her team are class acts and have created a wonderful place to enjoy a peaceful, healthy, active and highly valuable holiday experience. We'll definitely stay here again. Thanks again Miki for making our holiday so easy and smooth!

This is my second time staying with Miki and it definitely won't be the last. She is the best host you could ever ask for. She is always super responsive and proactive. The house itself is perfect for two people. The kitchen is well equipped to cook and Miki is always giving recommendations for local events. The apt is super close to the beach. The internet works great.

Honestly, we probably will never stay anywhere else when traveling to Nicaragua. Miki was an incredible host, and we loved getting to know her family. Miki was incredibly proactive in helping us learn how best to spend our time and getting things schedule for us like massages (which were maybe the best massages my boyfriend and I have ever had). Highly recomend. 4000/10.

The stay was a great experience. This was my second stay, having stayed with Miki 3 years ago in the studio. This time I was in the casita, a new addition. The casita was fantastic - very spacious, well designed and appointed. It would be perfect also for 2-travelers. There is good privacy, but also the opportunity to interact with Miki and her family, if you want.

Miki and her family were very gracious hosts. She, her father, and son were all so friendly and helpful.

I would definitely recommend staying here.

We had such an amazing stay at Miki’s house. The studio is new, super confortable and well equipped. We felt very much at home, which was so nice after almost 2 months travelling. Miki is a wonderful host, super friendly and caring. She helped us with basically everything, from transportation, surf board rental, food options and walking to nearby beaches. Thank you so much Miki!! The studio is really close to the beach, the area is beautiful and we’re just sad we didn’t stay longer!

We really loved our stay at Miki’s house! The casita is cozy, private and close to the beach. Kitchen, bathroom and bedroom were well equipped and super clean. The bed and pillows were really comfortable.

The place is quiet, surrounded by nature and ocean sounds. Miki is such a friendly, proactive and responsive host. We were celebrating a birthday and she got balloons to decorate the room. We really liked that she offered us doggie towels to dry our dogs when they came back from the beach. Even though our dogs were not on their friendliest days, Miki was very patient and understanding. This place is TRULY pet friendly.

We absolutely recommend Casita Koyu if you’re looking to disconnect and enjoy nature. This is definitely a rare find in Hacienda Iguana. Book it!

Playa colorado is always a great place to stay and of all the places we have met in this area, Miki's house has been the most homely, comfortable and enough for the number of days that was our instance. It is fully equipped for two people, the conditions of the house is as shown in the photos and makes the difference being close to a pool and having a porch in front of it to be able to sit to rest. It's definitely a place we'd like to go back to.
